My husband brought our 1997 Ford Box truck to this shop and they did a great job in fixing the transmission shift cable, fan clutch, and found a bypass kit for the trans cooler. The owners are very professional, polite, and reasonably priced! Thank you very much and God bless you all and your business.

Had them adjust the ignition timing on my suburban. They forgot to tighten the bolt on the distributor. Stalled in the middle of the road. After towing and repairs, came out to $400 out of my pocket due to their negligence. Thanks.

Used to go to these people 20 years ago, until I moved to Indiana. After trying nearly every auto repair shop near me and getting ripped off, I remembered how well I liked Herr Auto Repair. Although inconvenienty located in I took my 2002 auto into them and they found the problem and fixed it, at far less than expected. Glad to have re-found an honest repair shop!

Wish I would have found this place years ago. Tom runs an efficient and honest shop. I started with my work vehicle, a Mercedes sprinter full size van, and they've been done an exceptional job maintaining it. Since then I have brought all of my family's vehicles there, including my mom and mother-in-law's. When people treat you right, you have to give them the props. Thank you!

We moved to Steger about 10 years ago and had our regular mechanic in Dolton so we continued to go there for an additional few years. One day one of our vehicles needed an oil change and brakes so we decided to try this place since its right in back of our house. Long story short, we decided to give them our business because they were excellent. Tom (owner) is very good. He has a small crew that he's had for some years. The prices are reasonable with A+ service... Very happy we decided to give them a try.
