Elizabeth was so amazing and helpful. After Crete Post Office turned us away- she was so willing to help us with our passport. She was so kind- and we will definitely use Steger Post Office more!

They are slacking seriously nowadays. Mails are not delivered on-time and putting Mails in wrong addresses. I can't count how many times my neighbors Mails are placed in my mail box and vice-versa.

I have a candle business and mail packages from the Steger post office weekly. They are truly professional and always have a smile on their faces and I never have to wait in line for long. Best post office in a 20 mile radius!!

After reading many of the bad reviews I was initially nervous to go in and get help for my kids passports. Today was the 2nd time I went in for the same reason and again Elizabeth was just AWESOME! She’s very helpful, explaining everything in detail! She acknowledged several customers that went in while we were there always with a GREAT attitude.

Wanted to share my experiences over the past several weeks. Amanda and Liz have been great! I started using QR codes to mail my packages and it has made the process even quicker. The ladies have been so helpful in explaining how they work and patient with my questions. Thank you for the great experience each time I have came in with mail and packages. :) See you soon!

My family and I made an appointment to have all 7 of our passports taken care of today At the Steger post office, to be honest I have been having nightmares thinking about the amount of paperwork I had to do But Elizabeth helped us out she went above and beyond! The place was very packed and she managed to make it work for everyone! Highly recommend if you’re trying to get your passport taken care of this is the place to go!

Went here to get my kids US passport the lady that works on the passport very attentive and explain everything friendly as well . you have to be nice so people treat you as well in a nice way.

I ship a lot of packages frequently. EVERYTIME I go in there I say hi and I get no response or eye rolls. Not from every employee but from the POSTMASTER HERSELF!!! My husband said the same exact thing when he went in there to ship for me!! I finally something today and was told that’s a lie and shut the door on my face by the POSTMASTER!!! I am incredibly uncomfortable going in there to ship my packages! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS AND I WILL MAKE SURE HER HIGHER UPS KNOW HOW SHE TREATS THE CUSTOMERS!!!

Every time I deal with a certain person here, be it via phone or in person, it just gets worse with the attitude. WHAT exactly then, IS the job you do? Obviously it doesn't entail helping postal sevice customers. Always an "I don't know", "sorry can't help you", etc. Mind you, on all occasions, I had different situations & not ONE, could she help. Yeah, lady(?), do the least you have to do & still collect that check.

The women working frount desk is the rudest postal employee I have ever come across!! I do not know her by name, she has worked there for probably over 20 years. Worst customer service, acts as if everyone should know how to mail everything. If you ask a question her response is alwaus curt, never helpful, just THE poorest customer service. I dread having to go to this location, however it is where my PO box is located.
