“On December 1st my fiancee and myself went to this store to buy wedding rings. When we entered the store we were waiting in line at the front desk area for the next available employee to help us. While waiting, we were approached by an employee (blue sweater, short grey hair - couldn't see her name) who left her station #3 with a LIVE customer to walk over to us and literally scold us for standing and waiting - she said we would have to get in line with other shoppers eventhough we weren't buying any store items. She left her LIVE customer to confront us for what reason we have no idea. That's not acceptable behavior from a customer training perspective - as we didn't see her name tag - we remember what she looked like. As we proceeded to wait in line, we were able to purchase our wedding rings from station #2 - Kaitlyn as she needed help to make our transaction. She asked the manager of this store to help her make our purchase. The manager herself was very professional, knowledgeable and it was a pleasure dealing with the manager and Kaitlyn. In the event we decide to come back to Sterling Kohls for our 'cash rewards' purchases; hopefully your employees will have better customer service behavior than we experienced from the employee at station #3.”
