About Sauk Valley Foodbank
Sauk Valley Foodbank is a caring organization that helps those in need. On Saturdays, volunteers and staff are friendly and work quickly to serve many people in long lines. They offer a good variety of food, often including fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff makes visitors feel welcome, often greeting them and showing kindness, which creates a positive atmosphere. The process is simple—people drive through, and food is placed directly into their cars. Despite some challenges, such as a few negative incidents, the overall experience is positive, and many appreciate the generosity and helpfulness of the volunteers. Sauk Valley Foodbank is a trusted place for families seeking food assistance.

We always have a great experience…people are very nice and friendly. Food has always looked good, but a few times an item had expired. I know food can last way after that date…so no worries. Thank you to your volunteers!! We appreciate what you do and provide.😊
