The pharmacy is honestly the worse in the area. The store is ok but they really need to get it together at the pharmacy. They constantly are out, they keep telling you it will be ready in certain amount of time and its not. Its a constant struggle to get your prescription on a timely basis.

I got an automated text from them with their address and when I clicked it it brought me to the wrong one. They need to add the city in their alerts. I finally get to the right one and the kid at the window says he can't update my insurance because I need my "rx card" from the insurance not just my insurance card. I was so flustered and tired that I just went home. When I got home I looked at my insurance card that I had given him and sure enough the rx info WAS on there. I drove all the way back the next day and got my prescriptions and as the girl was extending the bin with my credit card and prescriptions my credit card falls out and she walked away so I tried to open my car door, but the bin was still stuck out so I waited for her to come back and she didn't... Ended up having to reverse to get out and pick it up. This job is not hard and yet two separate people made my experience sh!t. Never going back.

This is the worst pharmacy. Poor service, long wait times either in the drive through or inside it doesn't matter. Was there to pick up and they can't find your medication. Pharmacist has to refill. You come back the next day and still not filled so plan on multiple trips. Suggest going somewhere else.

Waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes to wait on the pharmacist another 10 minutes. Definitely avoid drive thru! I saw the line inside turn around rate was like a McDonalds counter. So maybe cut ur losses and walk inside

Made an appointment for 2:30 pm. Waited over an hour for my flu shot. Everyone at this location was rude. I finally get my flu shot after an hour and the girl that gave me my shot was short with me and gave me a huge attitude because I was waiting for my flu shot. Don't waste your time going to this location. Everyone is rude! There is no customer service at this location. I would post 0 stars but this website doesn't allow me to post 0 stars.

Pharmacy staff is fantastic and very helpful :) I feel like they have my best interest in mind and their assistance is greatly appreciated. Very busy location, they are always understaffed so everyone deserves a bonus :)

Called to ask a question about a prescription. On hold over 30 minutes each time and never even got throughNot the first time. This pharmacy is SO understaffed. Osco is looking much better

The pharmacies idea of customer service is to put you on hold for 10 minutes then the phone starts ringing again as if someone’s going to pick up your call, it can ring 20 or 25 times and then they just hang your call up. Thanks

If I could give zero stars I would this Walgreens is extremely rude! The pharmacy will repeatedly hang up on you. Not to mention they will tell you your prescriptions will be ready by a certain time then you go still in the line and just to find out they didn't even fill it. And they fill prescriptions that you've repeatedly told them you can't take yet they continually switch the prescriptions back to the old ones. And yet make them both as filled.

I was there around 6:45 and the pharmacy tech was very nice. However - I had the most unpleasant experience with the pharmacist "Mitzel" she was very rude and raised her voice at me multiple times. First off - she needs to learn how to deal with people, customers, patients.... She made me feel awful. I asked if she could try again because I know for a fact that my request would have gone thru (I had to go to a different pharmacy and I was able to get what she refused to give me.) Very unprofessional and not what I would expect from Walgreens. I hope I never have to feel like this again.

I moved to Streamwood a little over two years ago. Have been going to this Walgreens ever since. Have never had many complaints at other Walgreens pharmacies. However, it really does not seem like the Streamwood Walgreens pharmacy has a handle on how to run a pharmacy. I have consistently waited 20+ minutes in the drive thru (where you can’t get out if you are blocked in by other cars). I have also waited on hold for 65+ minutes when calling. That particular time I gave up on waiting on hold and drove there to drop off the prescriptions in person and ask my questions instead, and then had to drive back to pick them up. They also have on several occasions filled my monthly prescriptions for a three month refill instead of the one month that I asked more. One time they did this they said the pharmacist needs to recount and give me the 30 pills instead of 90. That would have been fine except the pharmacist was on their break and wouldn’t be back for another half hour. Going inside is not much better at all either. My experience here is the same regardless of time of day or weekday/weekend - bad. Worse yet, it hasn’t gotten better in over two years (and probably has gotten worse). My advice is to go find another pharmacy to go to other than this one, like I will be doing.

The worst Walgreens ever! Due to the pharmacist's bad management, it takes an hour to acquire your medications! Whether it's a drive-through or an interior location, there is usually a mile-long line. The customer service is inadequate. This is absolutely ridiculous. They need to employ a great deal more employees.

Went to the pharmacy for a covid test. We are pretty sure we have it, but wanted the confirmation. Made an appointment online and read that we should not go inside. Waited in the drive-thru for about 20 mins, and were told to go into the store. We did but left after waiting another 20 mins. I this was very irresponsible of the pharmacist. We were wearing masks, but we know that does not protect 100%. God knows how many people were around when I was coughing.

Best experience ever. Under new management and you could tell. Everyone very friendly and helpful. I will shop there more often now.
