The store manager is the nicest person ever! Helpful ALL the time - friendly and that store is clean and well organized easy to find items I give Dollar General South Streator 5 stars- 2 thumbs up - So glad we have such a nice store in South Streator we don't have anything else

Women in front of me paid several different ways with link card and 2other ones. She didn't have enough money for her cigarettes so the guy at the counter took the money out of the box people donate to. I will never put money in that again . Glad to have that store close to me but that is not right.

I have gone here every time I visit family up in Streator. The people here are always so kind and they have anything and everything that you could need.

Well I like how they won’t post my comment so I guess I’ll make it again when the store says they’re open till 9 PM they should have the doors open till then but no not this Dollar Store you would’ve got five stars if you would stop locking the door at 8:45 and leaving your lights on so that you can pretend that you’re open so corporate doesn’t yell at you the doors should not lock until 9 PM

The employees of the store are great Manager Emmanuel is excellent the only thing that ticks me off is I go down there at 10 to 9 and they’re closed lights all on but they’re closed why When a store is open until 9 PM they don’t need to lock their doors at 10 till and leave the lights on to pretend they’re open I live right down the street this is the only store that we have that is close to us especially when you have to ride a bike so thanks a lot to whoever is closing the store at 10 to 9 sometimes quarter till and I am not the only one complaining and pulling up trying to get in
