I frequently visit the Sugar Grove location to make my partner’s mortgage payment. It has always been a wonderful experience—staff members are welcoming, and their knowledge and professionalism have consistently stood out.
However, during my most recent visit, I experienced an interaction that has caused me to reconsider continuing my business here. While Judy, the employee assisting me, was providing excellent service, I observed another employee—an older woman with glasses, who appeared to be in a leadership role—speak to her in a manner that was both unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. Judy had simply asked a polite question, and the response she received was concerning. The tone and approach were not reflective of the high level of service I have come to expect at this location.I hope management changes something.

Giving me a hard time for withdrawing money from my bank account because I go to the Oswego branch. Asked me to name the Oswego employees… treating me like I’m a criminal for withdrawing my own money after letting hackers steal over a thousand dollars in fraud charges and only refunding me 100$ I have been frauded for the past year and no one is able to help me had to make 3 separate cases with the fraud department changed my debit card 3 times an still was recently hacked again. Then I tried to open a savings account online which wouldn’t work when I called the lady said they have been having trouble with creating new online saving accounts because of fraud and hackers. Good to know I only am able to get $100 of over $1000 they stole from me. I withdrew all my money out of my account because it’s not safe from this bank. Opened a capital one card instead.

I love this bank. Customer service is awesome, they are always super friendly. They know my name! How many big banks can you walk in where you always see familiar faces and they greet you by name? This is a first for me. They have always been very helpful when I had questions or needed extra help. Highly recommend!

Just want to reaffirm what you already know about service rep Sonya S. Sonya was personable, professional, patient, and polite during our conversation today. Outstanding customer service is not the norm any longer, but I experienced it today. Please do something to recognize Sonya for being such a exemplary employee for FNBO.

Upset with the service. Since the merge, things have changed. Customer service at this branch left much to be desired. The person on the phone was short with me and unhelpful. Ended up calling corporate who solved the issue immediately. I would not go back to this branch.

What a collection of low IQ miscreants (this review is more reflective of the "Customer Care" center, versus my branch in Sugar Grove, although the branch is staffed by a group of prehensile toed missing links as well). They closed my account, which was admittedly dormant, and sent the funds to the State of Illinois, because they "didn't know my address." I received a statement (at my address) shortly thereafter, stating that my account had been closed. When I called the toll free "customer care" center to retrieve my funds, I was told that it was a branch issue. When I called the branch, I was immediately transferred back to the toll free "customer care" center and I had to start over. I sincerely believe that the business model dictates that the customer must be worn down through subterfuge, double talk, gas lighting, and the Chinese Water Torture (just, kidding-I was only psychologically tortured) until she/he simply gives up. It worked perfectly in my case. I hung up and found my funds on the (Sad) state of Illinois unclaimed property web site. It should only take me 6 months to get them. Hurray!... This bank should have failed in 2007. I suspect that it received a massive infusion of federal (tax payer) funds.
