“I love coming here when I am visiting from Texas. The employees and friendly and remember your face. I spend quite a bit of money here when I visit and so does my parents. I always find what I am looking for and more. Recently I bought an Iron Maiden beer which was pretty good. I say give it a try. Plus I am a Shiner girl and thank the lord they had my shiner. Its a taste of home! Thank you for the great service!”

“Representative selection of popular standards plus a few gems scattered in the inventory for the curios and adventurous. Personable owner was helpful and entertaining. And, if you know what to ask for, that hard-to-find bottle you've been looking for just might be waiting for you in the back.”

“I know the guys working there for long . Always keep new vape products . Lovely people to talk to and very helpful if you have any questions. Their prices are very fair”

“Prisco's is an icon in Aurora. I like their employees, food products and the size of the store. It's interesting to walk around in the store and look at everything they sell. It'll make you hungry! You don't have to go far to get high quality groceries. Just go to Prisco's.”

“Had a good and honest experience. Needed some shooters and some beer. The guy at the counter was helpful as I do not drink very often. I had asked him if he had an tiny bottle of liquor ??? I remembered they were called shooters after he said the term. Haha. Anyway heres the finished product!”

“My absolute go to for bottles of wine! Great selection of varietals and amazing prices. Staff is always friendly and helpful. This a classic wine & spirt store smack downtown Geneva.”

“First time in a Woodman's! The store was clean, the two associates I spoke with were friendly and they had every product I could have ever wanted and a million more. Kringles, Faygo, Utz, Brekki were some of the things I was super happy to come across. My only complaint is there isn't one closer to where I live!”

“Great neighborhood liquor with a good selection of beer, wine, and bottles. Friendly and helpful staff. You can go to the big stores but why put up with the crowds and hassle.”

4.5 Superb47 Reviews

“This store is absolutely a hidden gem. They have an outstanding selection of bourbon and rye, including some wildly good store picks. It's not unusual to spot hard to find bottles here, and I consistently find something fun that I wasn't necessarily looking for. To top it off, the service is outstanding. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I spent a lot of time scouring shops in the southwest suburbs before discovering this shop, and this place is simply a cut above the rest.”

“Amazing place. Open till 1! So convient and their staff is absolutely amazing so sweet and Nice. Cheap prices!! I don't go anywhere else! Also they have a great selection of masks - hats - other things almost like a smoke shop would! Overall my favorite place”

“Great selection on everything. My nit is the guy in the humidor makes me feel so stupid if I ask any questions. I asked if they had a case of a particular cigar and he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and just shook his head. I spend $100 a month on cigars so a little courtesy would be great.”

“Very nice shopping experience. I feel Oswego Food Mart is way better quality than Jewel both with food selection and service. I wish I would open more locations in Kendall county.”

“Little too pricey, although have some great deals, and can find some really good things....Update--received email from store, I'm a stout guy, things that were pricey were Goose Island Bourbon County stout variants and Revolution Stouts and Variants. BCBS stuff was 30%+ higher than what I've paid at Woodmans or Jewel, but they are a small liquor store and I don't know cost (I'm sure it's higher than bigger stores) Revolution Deepwoods is the same (higher but not as bad). Good thing is they have these available and cost is what people will pay. That being said, I have found great clearance deals on Barrel Aged Stouts. Raised them up a star because of response and request for explanation. Hoping with 2021, Bourbon County isn't marked up as much (I'd spend more in the store if not so pricey).”

“Great little store with a good selection. Decent prices and nice guys who work there. They make an effort to greet you and say hello. I always get the same thing and we love joking about it. Can't go wrong here. Compared to some others I've visited his is the best. I've never once bought expired beer but have at some other joints. I enjoy founders all day ipa and some places don't move a lot of it and due to that have really skunks stuff.”

“This is THE place we go. Aside for the guys who run the place being super courteous and helpful, having a great selection and fair pricing, we go there regularly and asked a few times for a certain cigarette that they wound up not having but now they carry them AND they said it was specifically because we're good customers and wanted us to have what we prefer. That's amazing! You don't get that kind of service much at all these days. We're super appreciative and definitely committed customers.”

“I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Ava and Sam, the Manager, assisted me with my clients request when no one else would. I work for a major corporation and my client wanted to gift a bottle of Clase Azul Resposado Tequila to his colleague and none of the vendors I work with could ship the Tequila. I called a local liquor store, Valley Liquor and was greeted with a smile and willingness to assist. They agreed to personally deliver the bottle to his door step. This is the kind of service that a Centurion Member expects. Wish we had more local companies like you around to do business with. Thank you again.”

“This little store rocks. It's always been the same guy working when I have been there. He knows his beers. Tell him what you like and he will help you out. Tons of craft beers.”

“I just discovered this little gem across the street from my house, and I couldn’t be happier. The owners are super nice and always greet me with a friendly warm “ Hello Carrie “ which is nice. One negative thing about Lakewood Liquors is that They do not open until at 12:00pm when the other liquor stores open at 6am which can be inconvenient. They do stay open 1 hour later until 11pm when the others close at 10pm during the week. Also they do charge more for cigarettes. I buy cigarettes every 2 days from either the BP gas station, Shell gas station, or the Liquor Store off Sycamore & Route 34 and I ALWAYS pay $18.10, but at Lakewood Liquors I was surprised when the wife rang up my 2 packs of Marlboro for almost $24 dollars. I will go here if no one else is open, but I am going to stick to my usual liquor store off Sycamore for cigarettes and save my $6 dollars each time. That adds up.”

“Same as everyone else said; owner & wife will brighten your day. They are great humans. Prices close enough to bonnets & very good selection. I consider them neighborhood friends.”

“Cool little building tucked in behind the BP station. Tiny store, so just the regular stuff. No real craft beer to speak of so room for improvement. If they can find the cooler space. Hell, I'd be ok if it was warm as long as they had some. But maybe their demand for that refined beer taste. ? Come on man, why can't people just drink GOOD BEER?! I'm definitely spoiled though. ? ?”

“Excellent selection of whiskey and craft beer. Lots of local craft beer with fan favorite regional choices without the endless and unnecessary options of other stores. Hidden gem and easy in and out. Owner are also very friendly and helpful.some people thinks it’s pricey but things changing bec of Covid can’t blame them.”

“Great selection here! The guy working was super nice, and the pricing was fantastic. Lots of cold seltzers, wine, and beer in stock that always seem to be sold out at bigger stores. They also had a great selection of wines, liquor, craft beer, and mixers on the shelf.”

“I'm thrilled to have found this store for all of my wine & spirit needs, the store carries a very large variety of choices to suit everyone that walks in. I typically stop in once a week or so to pick up a few items. I'll tell you this, you will never find another store that is more organized and the cleanliness is off the charts. the one thing that really stands out about Pride is the staff!! Mike and Wells in particular are so friendly and will always help you out with any questions you may have. I will not shop anywhere but Pride in St. Charles going forward. All the best you guys!!”

“Good selection of beer. Gets robbed quite often. But the beer selection is good and they have some out-of-the-ordinary sale prices, found some decent craft beer on sale for $3.99/6 pack.”
