Update: We ended up switching our personal accounts from Sugar Grove to Kaneville and wish I could removed both stars I originally rated this branch. We also should have transferred years ago. We ended up having an issue with one of our accounts and went into Sugar Grove to rectify the situation. We were served by the branch manager, Jackie Link. Right of the bat it wasn't about us as clients, it was about keeping her numbers. I expect better from a company I trust my money with and that just wasn't the case. We have had our cards deactivated for purchases in Aurora and recieved a phone call. Deactivated on vacation, after we gave them a list of states we would be in but not deactivated for five days nor called when the accounts are showing activity never seen before. Jackie told my husband and I thatbit wasnt their job to give us a curiosity call. Potentially, true- however- if you want to keep clients- you should take better care of them then that. I asked her to close out the accounts and U would go Kaneville after her rude, condescending attitude to which she told me, "that would be stupid." Certainly not the type of language anyone in a leadership position should possess. So. Here we are. Transferred and warning everyone of the terrible service you'll recieve at Sugar Grove. Such a shame in a great community.

Never had a problem here, staff is always friendly, and I'm always in and out without issue. Switched from PNC Bank and don't regret it. I've opened up savings and checking accounts. Also appreciate the online banking interface where I can easy view accounts and transfer money between them.

Initially, this branch was a nice little branch. Then, they started going through employees right and left. Their practices are so inconsistent. For instance, I had been depositing coins in the drawer in the drive through for three years for a business I manage, then suddently it wasn't okay. One of the tellers tried to tell me it's always been a rule not realizing she was the one who I'd been served by the most. I've gotten deposit slips and checks printed when I run out, some times they take a dollar, some times the don't. Some times I have to go in, some times, I don't. I've made comment and have gotten the run around a few times. I've also been treated like a criminal for making business deposits. All of the tellers at the window asking who I work for, I'm not on their account, what my address is and so fourth. I've delt with super awesome tellers and have delt with some unfriendly, rude tellers. I prefer the branch in Kaneville, hands down. If you can avoid this one, I honestly would. Go down the road to the Kaneville branch. The ladies there have been there forever. They're kind, helpful and trustworthy. Much more than I can say for Sugar Grove.
