Walgreens is the worst. My prescription was sent in at 9 am Friday. I go to pick up my prescription at 4:30 Sunday. It wasn’t ready. The lady says it would be ready on Monday, but if I wanted to wait 20 minutes she would fill it now. WHAT! Seriously! It shouldn’t take 3 days to fill a prescription, especially if you have the medication in stock.

This rating is for the pharmacy. This pharmacy used to be fantastic but now i dread getting my meds. This was our last straw. My husband was picking up his prescription this evening and while we were speaking with the kindest pharmacy tech, the pharmacist literally started closing us in with the barrier leaving just enough space for us to leave the pharmacy 15 minutes later. I was having some issues with my health card bc I have switched jobs. While we my husband was getting his regular card, she whispered to the tech that she had 90 seconds to get out of there. Idk if she thought we couldn't hear but she was incredibly rude to her and we felt awful. The pharmacist finished checking us out while the tech left. Then before we even got to our car the pharmacist was walking out the door 10 minutes before the pharmacy was going to be closed. If she was in such a rush to leave like that I can't trust her to accurately count meds without rushing.

Left while helping me to help another customer because I had coupons for my prescriptions (they were ready to use) ... Terrible price and service combined today, I recommend driving to the Hyvee in Sycamore if you use GoodRX. $10-15 instead of $450-1100 (for one 30-day prescription)

The place is awful. Their lines are out of this world s. They must not want to pay people to work in their pharmacy so there's just one person serving several hundred a day. Either that or are they just have a horribly disorganized infrastructure

Thankfully there is a Kayla and the most awesome pharmacist that work here. I don’t know the pharmacists name but she’s beautiful and kind and helpful. My son had to have a rapid Covid test for surgery and she made sure I received the results quickly. And then Kayla always goes above and beyond to make sure I get my prescriptions. Because of these two women, I’d never go anywhere else!

Similar exprerience with the pharmacy department today. Agree with all current comments that include rude, no compassion and careless attitude and will add downright incompetent - from the pharmacist on staff (specifically Courtney). Handing a patient duplicate scrips for a controlled substance, then when alerted to it, cops an attitude.
Complaint filed wih Corporate and next step is a letter to IL regulators. Will see if IL Department of Financial and Professional Regulation believes there were any breaches of ethics or broken laws.
I also live close by but would encourage anyone local to do the same rather than be inconvenienced by local and/or corporate management ignoring a glaring problem. What will it take - someone dying from an error?

Always has what I need, but the employee I always see is so rude. If you hate your job, find a new one. Just don’t cause problems for those just shopping.

The only place open after 9:30pm on New Years Eve. On top of that, their staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Great service!

This location has some rather poor reviews, which I don't really understand. The staff here has been helpful, patient and kind. What you want/need is almost always available. Which cannot be said for other locations. I wouldn't be driving all the way from DeKalb to this location if it weren't the bees knees!

I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to the pharmacy team and pharmacist working tonight. My prescription is out of stock in many places and this is the only pharmacist who was patient, happy to help, and genuinely kind. If you think the pharmacy here is no good, I've got news for you... no pharmacy has high ratings! Look at google reviews! There are plenty of issues far beyond their control involving supply chain issues, insurance, policies, etc. They have always been very very busy and at the same time very patient with my requests. Yes at times things don't work perfectly, but as a hospital nurse I ask you to please be considerate! Treat them like human beings and understand that no matter what we are all people subject to the places and conditions in which we work.
