Once upon a time, I had problem free high speed internet. Then, my ISP sold out to Metro Communications. Now, I pay for high speed fiber internet and get slower than dial-up speeds. Problems w/ internet weekly - if not daily. Currently looking for new provider. Oh, and don’t complain to the folks over at Metro about their slow/interrupted service - they’ll threaten to cancel you.

Worst and most unprofessional company ever. Brock and some other kid showed up to a village meeting and acted like they owned the town. They said they have state approval and will do what they want in order to work in the village. But instead of them doing the actual work, they use out of state contractors who also don't care about the quality of work they provide.

Never should have let this company into Robinson Illinois. Only employee who acted like he is trying to help let me down too. Multiple email and phone messages Support personnel don’t even know their engineer whose name is listed on their website. Lots of blame for contractors they hired .

had no idea they were going to be digging everything up, no notice sent out to residents. now the whole town is without water because they hit the main line! not only is this not cool it is not a good way to start business, and y'all are in communication?! great job!

Communicate with property owners when work will be done in their yard - I had no idea they were going to be digging in my yard, on my property until workers suddenly appeared in my yard. It took days for them to complete their work and there were deep holes in my yard that any person or animal could have fallen in to. They need to immediately repair damage to property. My property was left damaged and a horrendous mess last November. No repairs have been made since. Nor has the company communicated with me regarding a date when repairs will be made. And I'm not even a customer. Bad business.

So far Metro is all things that Comcast is not. We've had Metro fiber internet service for about 10 months and it is very fast and stable. 2 things that Comcast coax was not. We are switching over to Metro's telephone service today. I have a feeling it will be a smooth switch over.Great company...I would highly recommend them.Chris GraueGraue Chev Buick CadLincoln, IL
