I'm from Raleigh Nc, and my mom and use to eat here all the time until they closed the store there.... I am so glad to see that they are still around. Have to try now as an adult, I hope it's still very nostalgic for me

Sorry Steak-Out but I just had to leave a review because I can't quite shake the disappointment that I experienced with my last order. First, I want to say my first time ordering from here was phenomenal which is why I was so excited to be able to treat myself after being under the weather, I had just got paid and I was home alone. This was just for me. First time, I ordered the steak tips and was left wanting more so this time I said why not let me go for a full ribeye with a baked potato and a cup of cheese even added cheesecake for dessert. Perhaps, I should have been concerned when the delivery driver seem to not having such a good night perhaps it was the rain or he mumbled about going to the wrong house or whatever. All i know he wasn't happy to be delivering my order but I gave him my biggest smile because I was ready to dive in. Now I know most will say you never should order a steak less than medium, however being raised by a family that cooks I know that if you can cook you can cook a perfect tender medium well or well done steak if you care about the food you prepare. Well Steak-Out whoever prepared this steak obviously didn't care because it was beyond well done absolutely no pink in sight and you could even smell that it was basically burnt. It didn't take too long after opening up the aluminum foil and cutting into for it to dry up like it was jerky. There's no way that this should have even been packaged up for delivery. The baked potato was good but the cup of cheese is way over-priced for the quality. I did call to inform the manager of what happen and I was happy to immediately be given options to have it redelivered which I didn't want to deal with an unhappy driver or to have it escalated and a credit applied. I chose the credit of an unknown amount and hopefully when I do try again which I plan on it that there won't be any issues. This time I think that I will go back to the steak tips as that's the only point of reference that I have and order at lunch. Either way good or bad I will review again. Oh and I do have photos because sometimes seeing is believing.

I ordered at 6pm. Arrived at 6:24pm with no butter for the potato which in fact I ordered extra butter. They came back at 6:52pm with butter. By this time my food has set and is cold. $34.86 later. I will never order from this place again. Do

I’ve never been unhappy with their delivery service, the food is always fresh and correct. The drivers are always super nice and if I decide to call in an order vs online ordering they always answer the phone fast and are super nice also.

The food served here is always prepped that day. The workers are always polite and friendly. If something is wrong with your order, it is always corrected. This is the best restaurant in the metro east. I’ve seen reviews saying that it’s too expensive. My family, of four, costs me 30 dollars at McDonald’s. Steak out costs me 40 dollars. It’s only a 10 dollar difference, but a world of difference in the quality of food. Fast food chains will fall by the wayside sooner then later. Steak out, diners, and family owned restaurants will get the business they finally deserve. Fast food companies worked because it was so affordable. That’s not the case any longer. Steak out is family ran and always on point. Like I said before, if they don’t execute, they will replace your order.

This place is not cheap the sides are not the best for the price but the steaks are always perfect, u might get an under cooked baked potato but that steak will make u forget about that.

Although this was listed, the listing must be old because the restaurant is not currently in business. That is unfortunate, because I have had Steak Out in other cities, and they generally do a very good job. Yelp needs to check on this and make adjustments. ********************^**
