Doug and Kayla from customer service are rude and bad at the basic function of their job that is providing good customer service. I bought the pressure washer parts and when assembled noticed that the pressure washer engine is leaking oil and cane to return and he denied it. Definitely need to go back and get some orientation on the basics of the job duty.

I placed an order online to be picked up this am @ 8:13 am.
I arrived @ 10:19 am, called , they said they would be right out. There was only 1 other truck there, so I waited til about 10:34 & finally decided to go in as I had another appointment I had to get to.
Went in waited about 5 more minutes before I could get someone's attention.
Saw my own stuff grabbed it & finally someone printed my receipt. I told her I had been waiting outside for 15 min. & she said ( oh, didn't hear that)
Thought you should know...
Disappointed!!

We have been customers of Menards for years…our dogs have always been welcome. We have 2 small breed dogs, a Shorkie & a Maltipoo, very friendly, not barkers. Yesterday we were talking to a lady who had her poodle with her, my little maltipoo let out one small bark at her dog..,within seconds a worker from Menards came over and told us they cannot allow a dog to bark in the store. We were just on our way to checking out, he would not allow us to keep our dog in the store. He told us we had to leave with the dog…my husband took our dog out to the car while I checked out with my dog that didn’t bark. It was insane! The guy wasn’t nice about it either…They’ve lost a good customer because of this…one bark and you’re banned..ridiculous..

Can never find anyone to help you. At check out, the clerk has their back practically towards you instead of facing you, sends your items down to the end for you to pack and then stand and waits doing nothing at the register while you pay, instead of helping you. Not a customer friendly store whatsoever. Will spend the extra 15 minutes to get to Lowes (where they offer a military discount also).

Very disappointing check out experience at this location. Honestly most of the time but this time is just next level. I go to check out it looks like self check out but really because someone is there to scan your items. This time no so pleasant cashier just scanning my items and literally just throwing them onto the conveyor belt. I mean i could have just done that. But I don’t appreciate someone not being considerate of items being bought just literally THROWING them! Like I don’t want anything broken geez. Be aware Mendards employees. Not that hard.

Purchased a Lawn mower for $400 and used it once then it wouldn’t start. Took it to there warranty location, waited 2 days to be told I needed to spend another $80 if I want my lawn mower to run due to a problem that was “most likely” due to fuel used but could have been a manufacture defect. Customer service would not exchange or give me my money back for the mower and basically told me tuff luck. They were exceptionally rude and seemed to prioritize other customers, perhaps it was because of my race. Will be going to Farm and Fleet and Home Depot from now on. Lost a loyal customer and all my family and friends will now be customers for life at Menards competitors. All over the manager refusing to exchange a broken lawn mower used for a total of 25minutes.
