I pre-planned my mother's funeral with Deborah. She made the process quite easy. There was no pressure. There was no pushing for things I didn't want or couldn't afford. I was given time to decide before signing anything. There was an open line between the two of us for any questions that arose. When the time came to implement those funeral plans, having pre-planned made everything so much easier. I had to travel for two days to get to Sycamore, but due to the plans, everything could be set in motion before I arrived. One quick meeting with Clay was all it took when I arrived. All my wishes were met. My mother looked so good...kudos to the beautician and make-up artist. Mom would have been happy with how everything turned out. Everyone involved was very professional.

I have nothing but good remarks for Quiram/Olson in Sycamore, IL. My family was pleased with the speed and accurate details which the the staff handled with seamless ease, even though decisions changed day-to-day due to the deadly virus threatening staff and attendees. My thanks to Jane, Clay, Phyllis, and the staff who helped me so much.

Unfortunate. Incomplete handling of important burial details, billing, returning phone calls, follow through, poor communication with church and family.Would not recommend.

My grandfather recently passed away and Olson Funeral Home really stepped it up for my family. His health was declining and we knew the end was near so I contacted them in advance of his passing. They were able to prepare all the necessary paperwork and get information ahead of time which made things a lot easier on my grandmother. I was told that memorials at the funeral home are usually about 2 hours but since we a lot of family coming from all areas of the U.S. they allowed us to lengthen the service time so everyone could pay their respects. Everyone was extremely professional and really there for us during this difficult time.

I wouldn't recommend this funeral home to anyone who wants their loved one treated with the utmost respect. My Mother had her funeral there in February of 2016. They allowed her head and face to be all contorted and did not put a bra on her and her breasts were hanging to the side. She was a very modest woman and would of been horrified by this. They rushed through her service and the burying crew stood in front of everyone with the pastor putting pressure on them to rush things up because they had a burial in Rockford. We still were within our time. As they stood there one of the female crew was particularly inconsiderate laughing and joking with her co-workers. We get to Elmwood Cemetery and these same people are in their truck hooping it up and laughing like this is all a big joke going on. My family found this very unprofessional and disturbing along with mu Mother's appearance in the casket. It was DISGRACEFUL !
