Yesterday took my dog for his annual rabies shot and other vaccinations. Looking at the invoice noticed the charge for the cook county rabies tag was $11.00. Going on line the 2022- 2023 cook county fee for tag was listed for $6.00. The cost to order 1 or 1000s is the same, so they are making a $5.00 to $5,000.00 or more profit on us. Taking their customer's money for increase profits during these Hard times. Since Bremen Animal Hospital was sold to a corporation service is down prices are up. They could not even provide a treat for our pet with their higher prices.

I moved to Tinley in 2018 and needed a vet office that had staff who had sone knowledge of IMHA that wasn't an emergency vet. Although I have one if then too. You guys have been nothing but kind to my boy Lawrence. From the moment you net him until you helped him pass over the rainbow bridge today, you have treated him with kindness, love, and me with compassion in his illness.

I’ve been bringing my pets here since I was a child and they have been consistently amazing. Dr. Gallatin has been my main vet for a long time now and he’s so great with my 18 year old cat. You’re staff is great! Thank you, Hya and Laura

This was our dog Lucy’s vet. They always took such great care of her. We brought her in to get checked out recently when she became very sick and unfortunately Dr. Gallatin had to deliver the bad news. Everyone was so kind to her and stayed around after closing to make sure she was comfortable. You can tell they really cared. If I ever get another pet I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

We began taking our 2 pups to Bremen almost a year ago. We have been very patient, but have had several issues. My biggest concern has been their disinterest in allowing owners to come back with the dogs for appointments, and how defensive they are when asked when things will change. They do not listen well, and are quick to use the COVID excuse for poor experience. I’m a family nurse practitioner and see humans in person for sick visits in an outpatient setting - what is the

After more then 30 years of going to this veterinary hospital with good results I'm sad to say that now I am very disappointed. My cat has allergies and gets a shot for the allergies in the spring and fall and in the past was given the shot by a veterinarian or a technician. This spring my cat is having bad sneezing attacks and since he had a checkup about 6 months ago and his teeth cleaned after that I hoped that a technician could give my cat a shot since the earliest appointment to see a vet was in 2 and a half weeks. I was told that seeing the vet was in the best interest of my cat. I disagree and I will be going to another veterinary hospital in the future.

My family has been taking our pets to Bremen Animal Hospital since the 90’s! Absolutely wonderful, personal, and professional care from all of the staff. I had switched providers for awhile due to proximity and slightly less cost, and was fortunate enough to have met Dr. Kohler during that time. I could not have been happier to follow her back to Bremen for the most compassionate and quality care for our entire furry feline family! Thank you!

We love Bremen, they are on top of it. So happy we left our last vet when our sweetheart passed away young because they were short staffed and refused her - on the way to emergency vet she died. I have to say we came here just tonight with our Daisy and they had two emergencies come in - I did NOT mind waiting as a rabies shot can wait compared to an emergency - and that's with having to get to work I can say that. When you have an emergency I can see they get you in unlike a lot of other vets who don't. I won't say where we left (in orland park area) to come here to Bremen in Tinley but it was one of the best decisions we ever made. The staff here let alone vets are excellent - a pleasure to come to and talk to. Emergencies always come first and they DO here. If our Dixie was here 10 years ago she would not have passed away recently. They care - we now have a puppy they are excellent with - no nickel and diming here and ?'s always answered nicely not rushed like other vets -gosh I really want to say where we left to come here but I'm going to be good!!!!

We've been going here for almost 17 years and have always loved it. Annie (the receptionist) is the shining light of the place, always displays professionalism and kindness. Dr Gallatin is super knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately the bad outweigh the good at Bremen. The last few years we have seen the quality of service decline. Not able to see same dr, no follow up check in calls on pet, getting treated more like a number than a patient. Now with covid, only Dr Gallatin will speak to the parent masked face to masked face. I asked for dr to update in person 6 ft away with a mask on, outside and was flat out told no for other doctors. I wasn't asking to go in just too look at their eyes. They don't feel comfortable. We are almost a year into this, I can go to my pediatrician and speak to the dr in person, why shouldn't I at the vet. Screening measures can be put in place like everywhere else. Your a doctor, if you don't at least do what cdc recommends for the best outcomes of your patient you probably should switch occupations. So much is known from looking in someone's eyes, especially when you are talking about a dog on hospice. Next, communication between doctors is lacking, doesn't seem to be good charting system or sign off. I was told by the vet tech they had to call a doctor on her day off. I never asked for this. Look at my dogs chart. Don't make me feel bad for a void in your system. I had two encounters with two different vet techs that were entitled and rude. One spoke louder and slower for me when I asked for clarification. When spoke to the manager, she ask me to consider their side and emotions, I'm sorry I thought we were the paying customers who's dog could be dying. I recognize my emotions are heightened and maybe I'm coming off irrational to you (this could be end of the road for my baby) and your tech couldn't even stop to acknowledge that. The techs response when I was in tears pouring out my worries and need for help for my senior dog, the dr is not available. No pause, no acknowledgement, no emotion, no concern. Should I be concerned about her emotions or should she express compassion? Should she take a deep breath and rise above for the client? My dog is family, we are at the end of the road. I'm stressed, a vets office should understand that more. We had to call 4 times in 2 days to get adequate treatment recommended by the doctor started for my dog. We called with concerns the next day after seeing a doctor and no one called us back that day. The doctor who recommended treatment to be started on Thursday wasn't back for 5 days, tech thought it was ok we wait until she returned. Delay treatment for a 18 year old dog!! I had to advocate for my dog, which is ok, but I want a vet who will advocate for her as well. I am a pediatric nurse, I have dealt with crazy, difficult situations, I would never down play a parents feelings, irrational and all. Listen and acknowledge, kindness and compassion, its not hard. If looking for a vet to make you feel inferior, not validate your feelings, not return calls, delay care for your dog, and then ask you to understand their emotions, Bremen hospital is the place for you. If you're looking for a vet that will provide you and your pet with responsive, comprehensive compassionate care, one that understands your pet is family, go somewhere else. This is not the place for you.

Today I had my second visit here with my puppy. The staff has been kind and patient, as well as the vet. They take time answering your questions and don't make you feel rushed. Dr. Faul handled my dog kindly and with care. As compared with the vet I used previously I am very happy with this place and the way they handle their animals. Would definitely recommend this vet to any dog owners.
