Bill was great with assisting the issues we have had with the account. Thank you Bill!

This is a wonderful branch, which should be the model for all other branches. It is clean, calm, welcoming-and everyone is masked. The teller was efficient and helpful. The manager, Bill, is the nicest banker that I have ever met. It's too bad that one person gave it one star. It's my 'go to' when I need to go into a Byline branch

Lack of security systems compared to other major big banks. My account was fraudulent hacked and the bank never sent me any type of notice regarding any suspicious transactions - which other banks do. Byline refused to be accountable and credit my account. Their security systems are below average. An employee told me their accounts get hacked continuously.

I would not recommend Byline Bank as they DO NOT follow process and protocol asking the proper screening questions as any financial institution would do to protect your bank account and identity. Any scammer who calls in from another state (the state in which you do not reside) can contact Byline bank (male or female) and receive access to your account even if they DO NOT answer all the screening questions accurately which is absolutely unheard of. They also do not record your calls at the branch level so if you think your account is safe, it's not and someone can call in (not the owner of your account), and gain access to your account at the branch level and you will never never know or investigate how the scammer gained access to your account. Any fraud that took place against your account ( or identity theft) CANNOT be investigated at a 'branch level'. I was told my account was compromised because the scammer had my full social security. I asked for a transcript of the call for further investigation and I have not hear from ANYONE on my request which confirms there is an internal cover up. I emailed the VP of Byline and the Manager of the Tinley Park branch and asked for a typed transcript of the fraud that took place against me from the scammer who called the bank and pretended HE was me. He is a HE and I am a female which is only one RED FLAG. They will also not document your call on your account when you call in saying a scammer has text and call me pretending they were Byline bank. The scammer, HE, also was given access to transfer money from my business bank account into my personal checking as they have a copy of my debit card somehow and attempted to withdraw money 3 times. This male is NOT A SIGNER of my business account (I AM THE ONLY SIGNOR) but was still given access. I was told my the VP of Byline and Manager of the Tinley Park branch they heard the perpetrator on the customer service line (which was recorded-customer service is recorded but not the branch level, which I find UNHEARD OF) but it was EXTREMELY hard to hear HIM. It was "Hard to hear" as the Manager of Byline bank told me, it was a very faint recording and they surmised the perpetrator had my social security number from that hard to hear recording. I have had LIFELOCK for 10 years and the supposed perpetrators did not attempt to open up a credit card in my name which would confirm they do not have my full social security. In addition, being ignored by the manager from Tinley Park, IL (after requesting a transcript of the customer service recordings), and Laura the Regional VP proves they are not forthcoming and simply now want to wash their hands of the investigation as I've closed my bank accounts. I do not recommend Byline Bank they have covered for their staff and for their grave error. I will also be contacting the BBB to file a complaint against Byline Bank. The FBI have been contacted and I will be taking further legal action if they do not produce the recorded transcript of the interaction of the scammer and their bank teller who gave this male scammer access to my account to transfer money to steal it from my checking account.
