I have been getting my prescriptions from this cvs for just about over a year. Almost every time I pick up a prescription I tell myself that I need to find a new pharmacy! The numbers and techs are unprofessional and rude. I have witnessed them rolling their eyes and intimidating customers by being verbally aggressive. When my doctor sends in a prescription it is almost a guarantee that it will take 2 days to fill. They have no sense of urgency regardless of the meds or reason you need them. They have told me their system went down and they never got a prescription from my doctor. I had to waste my doctor's time and my time dealing with their incompetence. They have a God complex and will question everything and have at times refused to fill a prescription. There is no accountability for how they treat people. Please don't subject yourself or your loved ones to this type of treatment. Do yourself a favor and just find another cvs pharmacy or another pharmacy all together.

This tiny woman was SO RUDE for no reason. There was a sale and we asked why it wouldn't come up and she was so mean and she screamed to put in the phone number and when it didn't work she got very aggresive and then we tried to pay and she got even MORE mad because we tried to put the card in and she's like NO and kept telling

This is a review for the CVS at 9551 171st Street. I was greeted within 2 minutes of walking into the store by an associate named Tamara, who went through a lot of work to find the product I was looking for. A previouse CVS store which did not have it told me the one at 9551 171st had 2 in stock. Tamara was able to track down where in the store the product was located. This was an out of the ordinary brand and product, difficult to find in stores. She was extremely helpful, pleasant, professional, and cheerful. Thank you Tamara.

I just had surgery and was concerned about certain medications. I called and spoke with Kathy, the pharmacist. She took the time wasn't rushed and just really informed me about the various medications. When you're nervous or scared and you get a person like Kathy, it makes the world of difference!

Katelyn the Pharmacist was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about my medications, and even helped explain the benefits of getting the flu shot which I received.

I am new in the area, so this is only the 2nd time, I've picked up a prescription at this location. Now mind you, my physician electronically sent the script earlier in the AM, how it is that it's not ready until mid evening? So I go when I'm told it would be ready, which is 4:45pm. I get to the counter the woman tells me, oh we are still working on this, it will be a few minutes. Hell, it's only an inhaler, you have no pills to count, just get the box off the shelf, slap the label on it, put it in the damn bag and give it to me. I nearly dying. Goodness. I think I need to try the other CVS in Tinley.

Finding the entrance to get here may be a hassle but I came here to pick up a few things and some tooth ache stuff as well. I had no problem finding what I needed in this store because as soon as you walk in the things you are looking for are hanging right above you on the ceiling to give you help on specific things you're looking for without going through multiple aisles. Staff is friendly. Will definitely recommend to go.

I would give them LESS than one star if I could - the people at this pharmacy are IDIOTS. They have people calling and leaving messages who talk in high pitched voices and talk so fast you can't possibly understand what they are saying. So you call back and are on hold, then someone (speaking in a high pitched voice and talking fast) says: "Hold on will be right with you" and puts you on hold whether you like it or not. Then you keep holding and are cut off. You call back and repeat the process, then get cut off again. I did this 3 times and after 15 minutes gave up and called the store manager, who said he would walk back there and tell them to pick up (they picked up, then said "hold on will be right with you" and put you on hold and then cut you off. But - CVS is better than Walgreens (which isn't saying much).

Another time I went to the same CVS on 171st and LaGrange to get a prescription for my one year old daughter after having the prescription at their location for 3 hours when I went to pick it up they told me that they didn't have the prescription so we called the doctor and the doctor said that she put the prescription in so she asked us she wants us to put it back in so we thought it said it a night going on 10 we had her put it at a Walgreens nearby when we went to Walgreens to pick up the prescription Walgreens told us that CVS is holding the prescription in our insurance won't pay for another one so I'm getting furious I call CVS and they tell me there's no one there to help me I have to call back Monday
