The clerk Audrey was extremely rude to me. This was the first time I purchased an OTC item. I didn’t know how to purchase it. Audrey didn’t provide any help. She kept saying “give me your card”. Well what card do you need. An explanation of the process would have been nice. And she didn’t even thank me for my purchase or say “ have a nice day”. Very rude!!!!

Manager at this location is rude spiteful & entitled prejudice Muslim female who will make your shopping experience extremely uncomfortable by racially profiling you definitely the worst cvs in tinley my advice visit the location 171st they have amazing staff & are always fully stocked willing to help you in any way they can with a smile 😃

I’ve had a consistently frustrating experience with this location when trying to refill my prescription. Each time my doctor sends it over, I end up stuck in a cycle of phone tag between the pharmacy and my doctor’s office. The staff here are often dismissive and rush me off the phone, insisting they haven’t received anything—despite my clinic confirming it was sent. To make matters worse, the CVS app will show “prescriber denied refill, you have to visit them for a refill,” adding to the confusion. This has happened five times now with my pregnancy nausea medication, and I’ve had enough! I would strongly recommend finding a different pharmacy to handle your prescriptions to avoid how terribly run this location is.

Something to implement would be checking if you carry the medication at prescription DROP OFF- not calling me 3 hrs later to tell me you don’t have it at your location but can transfer it elsewhere . Waste of time.

Wow! I see all these negative reviews and wonder if they have the right place. I’ve been using this store and pharmacy for over a year now. They aren’t the most accommodating place. They are civil. Sometimes pleasant. VERY HARD WORKING in the pharmacy. So busy that I worry about mistakes. Never had any. The closed at lunchtime policy ticks me off because that’s about the only time I can pickup my meds. Otherwise I’m pleased.

Very uncomfortable environment. I walk in to get my skincare products and a group of workers stopped talking and stared at me as I walked in. As a black man I felt very profiled. The Muslim lady with the hijab proceeded to approach me and ask me if I need help. I politely declined. She did not move she waited in the aisle until I went to the next aisle. Guess what… she moves to that aisle too! Looking at me and pretending to do work. I go across the store to get away from her thinking abt not buying anything at all and she’s staring at me from across the entire building. I don’t feel comfortable coming back to my usual CVS I am very offended with the obvious displays of racial profiling I should be able to shop in peace.

I’d give zero stars if possible. Worst cvs location in Tinley. Tried transferring my medication while traveling out of state. The lady refused to provide directions over the phone, kept speaking over me, and HUNG UP. This occurred during my 3rd attempt at trying to get ahold of someone there… still have yet to get any answers. You can no longer call and just speak to someone, you have to leave a voicemail and pray someone will contact you. I’ll be switching pharmacies ASAP.

I purchased a VISA gift card here for my son to have on a field trip. The card didn’t work and he had no money. When I returned to the store I was told that they know the card was part of a scam where thieves are switching out cards on their rack of cards and the money is going to the thieves when activated. My question to CVS was “If you know this, why are they still on the rack and why are you still selling these cards?” No answer.

Called to check on why my medicine was still pending, before I could even finish explaining something I was cut off and asked for my date of birth then when he looked into why it was still pending he had the nastiest attitude and couldn’t wait to get off the phone. I transferred my medicine to Walgreens, won’t be dealing with this place anymore.

Who ever works saterday night as a front store manager should not have a job dealing with others money. Was just accused of using fake Bill's when infact they were real. The cashier was also a simpleton. Hire people who can add to ten.

Zero stars. Rudest pharmacy staff! Wouldn't fill my prescription even after my prescriber resent with what they were asking for and even though CVS filled the same prescription the last two months. They kept telling me my insurance wouldn't cover it when it does! And what if I wanted to pay out of pocket?! Wouldn't even give me that option. The lead pharmacist aka the boss as they called her was downright rude to me and no one else would help. Now I'm out of my prescription for almost two weeks. I'll be going back to CVS in Target on 191st.

They should train their employees to not stare at customers. To the Arab American clerk at the register on 6/1/23: I'm an Arab American. So are you. I get it. So stop staring at me for Christ sake!
