“The BEST peaches I have ever tasted in a long time!!!There is nothing to compare to store bought. Reminds me of Poland and how a fruit should taste. The garlic is pungent and purple, not bleached white like in the stores.
The owners are so nice and genuinely care.I highly recommend coming here for pickles, cabbage, tomatoes, fruit ect instead of your local grocery store.

“Good selection of fresh produce, meats, organic grocery items, and healthy options overall. There is a section with items that are "here today, gone tomorrow" that I feel always has some items worth checking out, whether seasonal or going out of stock.
I usually bring my reusable bag and put my items in there, but if I forget it I can usually find an empty box on the shelf or in one of their carts that I can use to put my items in to save on plastic waste and buying a bag from them. Super convenient and great for the environment.
Good selection of meats and fruit, especially if you want something locally grow. Prices fluctuate but they seem reasonable to me in comparison for the quality of items you're getting.
I will say the self checkouts rolling out at many of the Aldi's are game changers. Otherwise, the lines can get pretty ridiculous and, besides holidays, I don't think I've ever seen more than two lanes open at a time at ANY Aldi from Illinois to Indiana. Other than that, I love going to Aldi for the prices, quality of ingredients, and the "here today, gone tomorrow" section!!!
P.S. there is a section in most Aldi locations with items from gardening to shoes to blankets to coloring books. Great finds in there too!!!”
“I go here almost every week because of my big family, though I can definitely tell you they will always and I mean ALWAYS have an amazing sale, not like the other stores where they have a sale on something no one wants, and something about this location specifically, if a line gets really really long, no one even has to ask, someone WILL come and OPEN ANOTHER LINE, and if you dont find what you need there, they WILL have it tomorrow, everyone is very professional there and sometimes they might even joke with you and have a nice conversation, if you want to get what you need and maybe have a good laugh, come here!”
“Yesterday (Sunday) we made our first visit to Alsalam Market. Ali treated us like family. Tonight we had veggie pitas with some of our homemade hummus lettuce and a vegetable salad thing with black olives. We’re already planning our next meal. Get the local pita and red pepper sauce”

“Reasonable prices, great product! I have raised my family on Aldi and have shopped Aldi for over 45 years! I would recommend it. Aldi has organic choices with no antibiotic meats. The produce is good. The bargan aisles have very cool finds. Stay out if those aisles if you are on a budget.”

“I used to go to the one off Cicero because I'm literally around the corner, but I've found myself preferring making the minor detour as the staff is just more approachable at times I guess? They also seem to carry more rare finds, or keep the things I purchase frequently in stock. It's also much easier to get out of as there are multiple exits and traffic lights to keep traffic flowing all directions.”

I spent $58 on 5 bags of fruit & vegs. Other stores it would have been easily $100.

“Even though Some things can be far and higher than most of your food store. S the selection is beyond compare, especially with produce, it is a fantastic store. It has a fantastic Delhi meat department has everything you can imagine carries just about every single brand their sales are really, really good and they have hot food there too, like 2 or 3 different sections of hot food. “Jan 21 2026 update - This location was recently remodeled. 4/6 times that I've gone since the remodel, all six rows of carts have been jammed/stuck together. Other shoppers were also trying to get carts, including strong men who were unable. I've told an employee each time. Today an employee told me it's because of new & different size carts being used and pushed together. I love Aldi but will have to shop at a different location until they get this straightened out because I can't do all of my shopping without a cart.
But on the positive side of the remodel - it is now bigger, the aisles seem to be wider, and it seems like there are more aisles. There is now an entrance that leads directly outside. There are three rows of cart returns on either side of the doors. You bag groceries along the windows which is nice. This location does not have self checkout. Aldi retains many of the same friendly and competent employees.
I've read some negative reviews regarding fruits and veggies and other items. I've been going to this Aldi since it opened. I continue to find fresh, delicious, and unmoldy fruits like blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, green and red grapes, tomatoes, strawberries, apples, pears, bananas, watermelon, cantaloupes, avocados. I find fresh cilantro, onions, potatoes. This is where we do about 97% of our grocery shopping. I think one time I bought a bad watermelon. But that happens anywhere. Off the top of my head, the only things that I buy at other places are deli meats, diet pop, low carb items, stuff like that.
Original review - This location is a medium-sized Aldi. So this Aldi does not have as great as a selection as the larger Aldis. The store entrance is pretty close to the mall entrance. And even though there are parking spaces marked for Aldi customers parking can still be a pain when the mall is busy. A family member who has a handicap placard does not like to go to this location because it is hard to find handicap parking. However, that family member does like that there are Aldi shopping carts available outside of the mall that she can quickly grab to hold on to.”

“Aldi's used to be my go-to store.But they no longer carry skim milk in gallons.. I used to get several a week. They are also having trouble keeping shelves stocked with regular items. Also notice price increases that are now higher than regular grocery stores .
I did have trouble with the self checkout overcharging me. The employees were very helpful and got my card credited right away and fixed the problem”

“I really like this Aldi. This Aldi always have everything in stock and then some. Their vegetables are always fresh, and the potatoes are not rotten like some Aldi in different areas. “They underwent construction earlier on in the year. The bread placement has changed to the beginning of the store, as well as the fruits and veggies. They added an extra freezer aisle. I believe there is more products then there used to be.”
“I love the new look and set up of products. Their prices are still reasonable and on point. The aisles are wider and easier to navigate. There handicap parking spaces are sufficient. The only thing they lack are electrical rolling carts with baskets for people with disabilities. They had one cart stuffed deep in a corner, surrounded by boxes. It was not accessible for use. I don't know if this was due to the fact that it didn't work. If that is the case, I hope that it is quickly rectified and two more are added.”

“Great!! ALDI to shop in Tinley Park. I had a unpleasant situation about to 1 months ago. When I was going through self checkout and I was unaware I did not scan 3 of my items. Because I was on my cellphone and not paying attention. The cashier alerts the manager. And she a walks over to me and accused me of stealing. And stated she could call the police on me. I took $1,000.00 in cash out of me pocket. And told her I don't have to steal. Think you have a misunderstanding. I could have left the store and bought nothing. And called Corporate. But i didn't because you have to allow people to see that they were wrong about judging you. I paid for the item anyway. And left but I feel because I was African American she prematurely judged me because of the color of my skin.So I came back to visit the store again on June 1st. The situation happened May 1st. And this same manager was doing a online order and she was shopping for the items. I stop and asked her where was an item. I was looking for just so she could see my face again. To let her see that because you misunderstood. What happened that day. I'm going to allow you to see every person of color are not stealing. Expleacially not a ALDI. We as a people should not judge any culture according to the race or skin color. It's call being racist. Would i continue to shop there yes because I am a citizen of this country and I do not steal. Im a Home owner and a good person. I am still going to give the store a 5 star rate because the store itself shouldn't have to pay for a racist manager. The food is fresh and good quality. And you don't get that a every ALDI store so that is why some people go a little out of their way to visit another store. Thank you and i hope that my review express my disappointment in her actions. Not the store itself.”
