As a Hilton Diamond member i enjoy the benefits that come along with it. This stay however was not a reflection of that. The staff was nice and very helpful however it didn’t quite make up for the rest of the stay. For starters, upon arriving I found that my digital key was not working and had to head to the front desk(not a problem). When we got into the room it was icy cold and took a bit to heat up. Following that, there appeared to be mold in our shower. All these things are really not worth not staying. However, got back to the hotel after a long work day and found that I could not get into the hotel from the back due to my hard keys not working. Once upstairs found that they didn’t work at all. Had to go get new keys. Now if I was traveling alone that would have been nothing. But when you have three kids with you it’s a whole nother thing. To add insult to injury I showed my waitress at breakfast that since I am a diamond member that I get free breakfast with their particular hotel(as stated in my Hilton honors app under benefits to your stay). She prompted me to put it on the room and they would subtract it from my final bill. So I tipped her well and went along with my day. When I received my final bill I noticed they hadn’t taken off the breakfast charges. I called the hotel and they stated that “though some Hilton gardens do honor free breakfast, this particular one does not”…..umm…ok. To wrap it all up 75% of the time it smelled like weed. Rarely do I ever leave negative feedback but i wouldn’t have booked my family here had I know all of this ahead of time.

Purchased this hotel as an emergency stay when my vehicle broke down in subzero temp weather, leaving my family of 5 stranded. This hotel had the most unfriendly staff from the front desk to management, that I have encountered ever staying at a hotel. They made every interaction feel like an imposition and could be likened to the stereotypical DMV staff mindset.The room had bits of previous tenants trash on the floor, the coffee machine was caked with residues, and the bathtub had soap scum build up. I am a purple heart recipient with a service dog, which they chided my wife about while I was out in the cold working on my vehicle, and demanded she report to the front desk like a child to the principals office, only to tell her they had a card on file they could have charged without the spectacle. When I showed proof my dog was a service animal and attempted to get the $75 charge removed the staff acted rude and annoyed with me for asking and informed me there was no manager available to correct the charge.When I took my elementary school aged kids to get food with my reservation included breakfast at 9:40, the kids were hurried through the buffet because the staff decided to close/clean everything up 20 mins earlier than the 10am time breakfast was listed as ending at. To add insult the staff then charged me $28 for their meals in spite of me showing proof it was supposed to be included, and required me to wait until a manager showed up at 3pm to get it removed from my bill.I have traveled the world and stayed in a lot of hotels and say with confidence the staff here were the absolute rudest. I hope to never end up needing to stay here again because the best part was leaving.

Very clean room & the service was wonderful! Location was perfect, as it was close to the convention center, my daughter attended, as well as other places to eat & shop. Weight room was clean & good options.

On the surface the room and hotel looked clean, but it really was not. In the bathroom, if you looked along the walls and near the tub, there was grim/mold. Like the mop the middle and leave the rest. I happened to look down at the cold air return, and it was caked in dust. The room just felt unclean and worn out. Doesn't matter how good the service is or the location when you don't feel the room is clean.

This Hilton is in a great location. The staff here is superb. The amenities were great. The building itself was pretty dated. This place needs a face-lift. The walls are paper thin, so, watch your private conversations. The floors in the hallway are pretty lumpy too. Hopefully, Hilton will update this hotel.Rooms: The mattresses in my room were pretty stiff and not very comfortable. The wifi and breakfast were excellent.Safety: The location is secluded and has easy access to I80.

Rooms were okay size wise. I thought when I booked it said continental break fest, it was not, they wanted 14.95 for "made to order" which it was not. When I booked I asked for adjoining rooms, did not get that. They said It was only a "suggestion" when booking?? The internet was not great, needed to pay extra $$ to stream. The floors in the rooms were disgusting! Just walking around our room with bare feet they were black, like I had walked across the black top or through the mud. Literally turned the white wash clothes black from washing my feet from just a short time in the room! We were looking forward to enjoying the hot tub, but as usual the hot tub was down. Was told that kids were playing and broke something. Part was on order, with a full hotel should have been a priority. Service was good staff was pleasant.Rooms: Bed was comfy, no lumps. Floors in room was disgusting!

As many have said the hotel is fairly dated for the price. We also had an older room, mold in all the shower corners, and the usual 2 towels for a 2 queen room that sleeps 4.....There doors shut so hard you hear every door slam every time, like large industrial doors. We had a noisy night one of the nights but we understand hotel does not realize they are renting to those kind of people when making reservations. The down side you can hear EVERYTHING from the hallways or next door.The rooms were a 1-2 star the people there were great and that helped us get through the weekend.

Warm welcome. Friendly staff that's willing to make your stay perfect.Room was clean.Bar had a large table and 5/6 bar seats. It was a comfortable extension of a comfy lobby.Didn't take part in their meals. Our wedding had that part covered for us.Thanks to all the staff. You could tell you cared about each other and worked well together.Pic is in the lobby.

This was my worst hotel experience. I tried to book this hotel for my wedding party; however it was a disaster. The sales rep did not return any of my phone calls or voicemails for two months of me trying to book the suits. I finally came to the hotel in person and was given s great price for the two rooms together since the sales rep dropped the ball. When my wedding party arrived it was hell. The original price that was given was not honored and instead charged me separately for both rooms. Also the last check out that was agreed upon was also not honored at 3:00 due to the sales rep scheduling another wedding party to take over our rooms. The hotel did not accommodate for their mistake and did not offer any assistance.This experience was completely unprofessional, dishonorable, and added major stress to the already stressful day of my wedding.

Staff didn’t know what the other was doing. The rooms had an odor . We had a block of 10 rooms. Every reservation experienced a check in problem and some had incorrect charges at check out. I will never stay at this Hilton Garden Inn Tinley Park Illinois again. Be mindful, when you get a response from your particular review, it will be general and generic. They will not address your individual problem or concerns.Rooms: The rooms overall were smelly and the bathrooms around the toilet were not clean and had spiders.

We needed a place to stay for one night while driving from Michigan to Iowa with our two months old. We reserved it on the app and arrived around 11pm. Our shower was dirty, the soap holder place was full of gunk and green soap scum. The pillows were so flat even folding them in half or doubling up did nothing. You laid on it and went right to the mattress. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable as well. I was hoping to get about 6-7 hours of sleep and get back on the road. I didn't even get 2 hours I was so uncomfortable attempting to sleep there. Would never stay again.

I am not a big complainer but this stay there were a couple things. I noticed when I got in late that the entire carpet was damp and the bathroom floor was dirty. Not swept or mopped. Not gonna switch rooms at 1130 at night, though so I just went to bed. Late.Then, 2 different house keepers knocked the morning of checkout to see if I was there. If checkout isn’t til noon, I should not be bothered, since housekeeping is an on-demand service.I don’t like to be disturbed which is why I love digital key and app check in and out.

We had our stay here for our wedding weekend (07/27-0728), the whole staff was amazing. They took care our families, friends and out of towners as well with such awesome service. We loved it here, beautiful rooms and food services. Definitely would recommend staying here.Rooms: We stayed at the honeymoon suite, it was just like staying in a small studio apartment. I saw my families two queen room, very spacious and the deluxe king size room was great as well. Bathrooms clean and make sure to ask for additional toilettes as needed due to for covid guidelines have changed the process.Nearby activities: Driving distance from Orland Park and Frankfort downtownSafety: Definitely a safe area to arrive to at night, the rooms felt safe and did not have a bad experience at allFood & drinks: Breakfast, lunch and dinner plus at drinks & service was greatNoteworthy details: They were able to print out our wedding agenda and place it around the hotel for our wedding guest to take note of the plans and shuttle times.
