  Had to cancel appointment for cut and color due to work obligations. Usually get the cut and color every 8 weeks. Attempted to reschedule with stylist I’d been seeing at the Tinley Park branch of Lisa Thomas Salons for over a year. Payton, receptionist at front desk, kept giving me dates that I just couldn’t make. This was after several calls back and forth with the salon trying to come up with a date that would work for both stylist and me. Payton kept telling me the stylist was booked 2 to 3 weeks out each time I’d call to reschedule. Finally, after telling Payton that their salon is not very flexible when it comes to booking appointments for customers, I told her I’d have to find somewhere else to go. Her response was, “Ok.” She didn’t try to bother to see if another stylist could see me on a date I was free or if another location of the Lisa Thomas branches had an opening that could accommodate me. Not very business savvy. I would’ve thought you’d want to keep all of your customers in this very tight economy. If you have a tight work schedule, this salon is not for you. So sorry Lisa Thomas Salons, but Payton just lost you a very good customer.

  This was my first time at Lisa Thomas Salon in Tinley. My mother was recommended by our neighbor, and then she recommended me. My stylist was Emily, and she was AMAZING! My hair hadn't been touched in almost 2 years, and she gave it LIFE again. Even gave me some pointers on styling at home. I will definitely be coming back!!

  We just moved to the neighborhood and
  My husband took me to this salon that I believed to be an upscale establishment.
  
  But when we walked in we saw this young girl wearing a skin tight blouse with her stomach showing. She had faded jeans and gym shoes. It seemed very unprofessional and made my husband and I very uncomfortable.
  
  Maybe I'm old fashioned but I do not want to see so much skin at my salon. Class and sophistication are often reflected in a person’s attire and reflects on the place of business.

  My first visit with Jeannette was perfectly perfect. I explained I was a recovering cancer patient and my hair now grew back in unmanageable directions and l no longer looked like myself. Jeannette explained what she could do with my hair to make it better and used a new product, I ended up buying. Jeannette showed me a new easy way to style my hair after she cut it and
  I am beyond happy. I recommend Lisa Thomas Salon and especially Jeannette for being patient with me and her creative styling skills.

  I recently took my daughter to Lisa Thomas for a big haircut, as she was donating 8 to 10 inches of her hair. We were lucky enough to have BRIANNA as our stylist, and she did an amazing job! She made my daughter feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole process. The haircut turned out beautifully, and BRIANNA was incredibly helpful in recommending products that have worked wonders for both my daughter’s hair and mine. The entire experience was wonderful, from the friendly atmosphere to the professional service. I highly recommend Lisa Thomas for anyone looking for a great salon!

  I had the pleasure of utilizing the services of Lisa Thomas Salon for my bridal makeup and hair trial, where I had the privilege of working with the talented Jeanette.Jeanette proved to be an absolute magician in bringing my wedding day hair and makeup vision to life. Her kindness and attentive nature stood out, as she patiently listened to all my concerns and promptly made adjustments to my makeup application when I shared my experience of makeup shifting after several hours from our makeup trial.Thanks to Jeanette’s expertise and dedication, my wedding day makeup and hair remained flawless for an impressive duration of over 12 hours, requiring minimal touch-ups, limited to just blotting once. The difference was truly remarkable.I wholeheartedly recommend opting for the airbrushed makeup look for any special occasion, as it clearly made a significant impact on the longevity and quality of my bridal makeup.Attached are photos, one captured before I left the salon, and the second taken toward the end of my wedding day, showcasing the remarkable work of Jeanette and the Lisa Thomas Salon team.

  I drive 40 minutes to this salon every 10 weeks to get my hair done by Skylar. She does an absolutely perfect job every single time. The environment of Lisa Thomas is wonderful. The store is always clean, with lively music and beautiful decorations. Another perk is that people will offer you refreshments throughout your appointment. The staff at the front desk is very friendly, as well as all of the hair stylists. Skylar is incredible. She takes her time to do really precise, high quality work. I have thick, frizzy, dark hair that knots very easily. Every time I come in, she brushes all of the knots out that I can never get, and she turns my hair into a beautiful, bright red. The transformation each appointment is honestly unbelievable. She really takes her time to make sure that your hair is to your satisfaction. Not only that, but she is also incredibly friendly and personable. She truly cares about the lives of all of her clients, and she is great at making conversation. I have had my hair dyed red by other stylists before, and it has always faded quickly and transferred onto pillows, shirts, etc. However, when I go to Lisa Thomas and have my hair dyed red by Skylar, I never have any of these issues. My hair stays vibrant for a long time and my pillows and clothes stay their original color. Overall, I have zero complaints about this salon and Skylar. It is worth every penny, as well as the long drive. I highly recommend this establishment.
