Recently, my 89 year old mother took her Honda to this Tinley Park Midas because she was having problems starting her car after a recently replacing her old battery one month prior (from a parts store). Scott did an extensive electrical analysis and told her that it was, indeed, a bad battery and suggested she exchange it for another from the original place of purchase.
Now he could have told her it was anything (short in the wires, bad alternator, etc) and charged her a nominal fee for something she did not need and she'd have no way to know otherwise. But he didn't, and left her with the least expensive (and truthful, mind you) solution.
Thanks, Scott. Her son appreciates how you treated his mother.

Awesome experience from calling for estimate on exact repair to getting the vehicle in the shop and repaired same day.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they'll give you the details for your repair and approximate time needed. I'm sure at times they will be very busy and you might have to schedule your repair but I'm sure if you car then and let them know what needs to be done they can give you their best estimate on how long.
Found out this is a family owned business which at this day and after is awesome to hear and it gets me to want to visit them for my repairs from here on. Again family owned and friendly. Oh yeah yeah, pricing.
The pricing estimate I was given is right on par with average costs for this repair on my exact vehicle I needed repaired. I knew that when going this deep into exhaust done things might happen and I was prepared for a part or two to be needed and for the vehicle being 14 years old, in proud to have chosen Midas on 159th just east of Harlem Ave!
End result: The vehicle runs and feels like new, the noises from the hole in the flex pipe are gone, startup is quiet again and best of all I got back my 6 mpg on the first drive home! Quality repair and service, 10 thumbs up

Don’t come here if you want fair customer service, they were rude to me and rescheduled my appointment because they were very busy claiming that it wanted 1:30 hours for oil change while It always take them less than half an hour to do so !

At Midas Tinley park they Missliding and overcharging me
they write an invoice without descreption just the total amount
when i ask for description they refuse to provide one they charged me $700 for 90 minutes labor and $99 dolars in parts
do not recomend this place to my family or friends please stay a way if you dont wnt to be ripped off

Came in on a Friday late afternoon before a holiday with no heat. Scott took me in within a short tim was out the door with heat in my car and so happy because it was a freezing weekend. I appreciate the quality mechanics and 5 star service I continue to receive at Midas Tinley Park.

They will let you know exactly what you ACTUALLY need and nothing more !
After going to the Nissan Dealership for years while my car was under warranty the second my warranty was done they tried to charge me over 3k for repairs including a control arm I didn’t need and tried to tell me my car would flip over and the wheel would fly off if not fixed immediately 😂 took my car to Midas and Eric let me know I only needed a tie rod not a control arm
SAVED ME WELL OVER $2k 💸 !!!
I would not trust my car with anyone else
