I ordered some readers 7 days ago and still have no estimated delivery date. The items have been sitting for days in the same place. They shipped the books pretty quickly but I am disappointed that they do not use a better shipper. I could have ordered from Sonlight for a few cents more and I would have had them by now. I can’t speak for how great the company is or isn’t, but shipping is something that a lot of companies have down these days but, unfortunately, this company does not.

Basically, I paid for delivery cad$134.67 for purchasing cad$222.73 books.Not worth it.Don't order from Rainbow Resources especially if you live in Canada.You will be ripped off by overpaying delivery fees that they charge.I ordered books valued us$164.19(cad$222.73) plus delivery feel us$41.05(cad$55.61).And I got an invoice from FedEx cad$79.06 for custom clearance entrey fee.Normally, the custom clearance entry fee is between cad$30 to 40.However, for whatever reasons, Rainbow Resources sent this time through FedEx and that incurred FedEx's charge of their own fees on top of the custom clearance entry fee.Called Rainbow resources to clarify why they sent through FedEx not canada post and the customer service staff's answer was that's done by delivery department and nothing they can do.I've been ordering books from Rainbowresources over 8yrs to save some money but it's clear they don't care about customers wallet much as long as they sell.Don't waste your money by ordering from them.

The curriculum counselors are an invaluable resource. I am so grateful for the company investment to help identify materials for homeschooling.. The website often has product videos to help as well. They strive to improve so give them feedback!

When I placed my first order with this company I felt complete confidence, due to the other great reviews I had seen. Unfortunately, I received my box with half of my order missing. It seemed as if they thought it was the Post offices fault, even though the Rainbow Resource tape was not tampered with. They did resend my books to make it right, which was great at first. The problem was that one of the books I ordered was on backorder (although it wasn't when I placed my order or I wouldn't have ordered it). We homeschool year round so it is important to me to get my orders in a timely manner. I even offered to take an exchange and order something else that was in stock, and that request was completely dismissed and I was just told they would give me weekly updates on my backorder. I am now out that money and ordering from a different company so we can have something in the time frame I need it. Needless to say this was my first and last order from this company. I don't normally leave bad reviews, and I do appreciate them resending the product, but I have ordered from at least 5 other curriculum companies in our 7 years of homeschooling and have NEVER had an issue such as this. My hope is that they see this review and fix some issues so no one else experiences this. I am not worried about myself, because we will just use someone else from now on.

I've ordered several homeschool items from this company over the last 6 years and always received them at great prices and in a timely manner. I always check here first before any other competitors for book and kits.

Great customer service and fast shipping. Order was packaged securely and all items in great condition on arrival even though was an international shipment. Will definitely order from them again.

This company is the absolute best to work with. I have ordered multiple homeschool supplies from them and they have always been a pleasure, but the last interaction just had me rushing on here to leave a positive review. I ordered 3 chapter books for my daughter and after they came I realized I didn't get the 3 I intended. I called customer service, spoke to an actual person and the situation was cleared up immediately. I was told I'd be sent a replacement. When RR did not have the replacement to be sent due to backorder status, they sent me an email explaining the issue. As soon as the book was available, an email was sent and we had the book within a day.

Why can't you post with 0 stars?! Place is looking more and more like a fraud by the day. Placed an order for a Christmas present on 12/5. Sent an email asking for an update on 12/20 hoping perhaps shipping could be expedited. Didn't get a response until 12/30. Here it is 2/17 and still hasn't shipped. Granted it is on back order, but other retailers carry the item and if there was any indication there'd be this type of inexplicable delay, I would've ordered from someone else. Maybe I'll have the item in time for NEXT Christmas. Maybe.

We have gotten curriculum and Christmas gifts from them and customer service is always top notch. They forgot to ship one of our gifts in my giant order and I didn't notice it until 6 days before Christmas. They had the item overnighted to us and item arrived on Christmas eve. Will purchase from here again and again! (Also their Christmas catalog is dangerously awesome!)

The Christmas gift I ordered on December 12, 2020 with a 5 day delivery promise NEVER showed up or did the company contact me to let me know it would be late. I reached out to this business on December 28 leaving voice message and through email. I never heard back. The company took my money but did not send me the merchandise and ignored my inquiries. Why on earth would you sell puzzles that you don't have in stock? Bad business, bad customer service and thoroughly unreachable by phone or email. i just want my money back. I would recommend purchasing school supples, etc. from Lakeshore Learning - www.lakeshorelearning.com is much better stocked and certainly excels in customer service. Just say no to the Rainbow!
