My daughter and I bought a car from CrossRoads auto. Nice, clean vehicle with no mechanical issues. Friendly staff, and great prices!

We bought a caravan and it had some issues with shifting which honestly I don't feel was really anything that could be noticed before it was sold because it had to be driven for a bit to notice that BUT everyone was so nice and Mike let us pick out a different vehicle for the same price and so far everything is going good. Either way even though I'm a lil sad about the van I am happy with the 08 escape we chose in place of the van and very happy with how awesome everyone was and we will definitely consider buying from Crossroads in the future when we want another vehicle. I would recommend going here because if there's any issue they will do their best to make things right and they are very friendly.

Staff is easy to work with, looked at a car in the morning , they got the paperwork all ready so upon returning in the afternoon it took all of 20 minutes to finalize or purchase. Would recommend for first time buyers, decent cars at fair prices. New stock arriving almost daily as well

Went and test drove 2 vehicles both had service engine light on, when i asked to test drive just one more he asked was i buying today which i replied no i am looking to buy in 3 days i was then told to comeback with the money so that i am motivated to buy then i could test drive the 3rd vehicle. Talk about disrespect i will never go back to that shady business.

Drove an hour and a half to check out some cars and they had the audacity to tell me to come back later to test drive. I was ready to buy within a few days. The guy was rude about it too. He said all of those cars would be gone when I came back. He was telling me about all kinds of issues with cars they tried to repair but kept messing up on them. That should tell you that these cars will have issues once you drive it off the lot. Do not trust them.

It disheartens me to write this review as when we were there with our excited 16 year old to buy her first ever car we enjoyed our time, and we thought we could trust these two gentlemen. I foolishly thought they would have the best interest of my daughter at heart as well.Unfortunately, within a day after we purchased the 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe with 183,000 miles on it, we began having issues. We noticed a shudder upon acceleration when my daughter would accelerate. Follow this by popping noises while turning. I decided it best to take the car into our mechanic we have used for years and trust. Honest mechanics who will save you a buck if they can. He did a full inspection on the vehicle for her while also addressing her concerns. Come to find out the right CV boot needs to be replaced - hence the shuddering. What will that do if it stops working? Stop the wheel from turning. What will that lead to when going 70 mph on the interstate? Accident and potentially severe or fatal injuries.Secondly, the popping noises are caused by the front right and left lower control arm bushings being worn out. What happens when those break? The tires buckle under the vehicle. What happens at 70 mph on the interstate when that happens? Accident with potentially severe or fatal injuries. There were several other minor issues found, but I expected that with a used car.My disappointment here is that they say they inspected the vehicle and looked it over and fixed anything of major concern. Those two things are major concerns. Before we could ask, we were told the price was not negotiable and our total was set. I recognize we chose to buy this vehicle. However, this was with the understanding all major issues would have been disclosed, especially potentially life-threatening malfunctions.I did phone Crossroads and they offered to replace them at cost. I live an hours drive away from them and my daughter has no means to get to work without this vehicle, hence the reason we purchased it. How am I willing to let anyone drive a vehicle that could cause an accident an hours distance? Especially my daughter. I countered that they could help her pay for the repairs locally, and they are totally unwilling to even entertain the idea of helping her because they want to see it first. Well, you already saw the vehicle and never noticed it, why would I expect you to find an issue now? Further, I trust my mechanic who hasn't taken advantage of us in cost up to this point, so why would I trust someone who I don't know and who didn't notice any of these issues to replace it and also downplayed the significance of these issues with my 16 year old daughter behind the wheel!Life lessons are hard. This one is particularly hard for my daughter who now has to come up with the funds to repair her vehicle so it can be safe and road-worthy for her. She trusted these two gentleman to be honest and have her best interest - or at least her life - at heart. She learned she cannot trust others to have her life or best interest at heart, especially when it comes to money as that seems to be the most important thing to these two gentlemen. It truly breaks my heart she had to learn this lesson at such a young age. So, thank you gentlemen for that lesson, and no thanks, we won't be doing any further business with you or sending anyone else we know your way.Best wishes!

Bought from them a little over a year ago. First off I will say I like the fact that all the legal stuff is done there even the license plate, and registration. I bought my car knowing it had a few minor issues because I knew I could fix it. I also knew it had a sensor issue because it said low oil and it wasn’t ( at the time ) so I checked it for a while and it was still fine. About three months ago it shut down on me every time I made a turn so I examined it and found it blew a bearing so I completely took the entire engine apart and found there was no oil gasket to stop the leak so it was empty, and this car uses dex cool antifreeze but the engine was full of paste meaning someone mixed the dex with normal 50/50 even after I got it running again it never ran the same and ultimately broke down over 45 miles from home costing me 600 dollars in tow fees. If this place knew what they was doing they would have spotted something as simple as using the wrong antifreeze or gasket. They have a garage to work on cars so you would think this is something their mechanics would spot during inspection.

The purchase of our trailer was easy from start to finish. It had to be ordered and it showed up within the allotted time with no surprises. The trailer has performed well. I would purchase here again.

I definitely do not recommend! He has admitted to resetting codes and isn’t very truthful. He is a rip off. If you have had any issues with this guy please file a claim with the Illinois attorney general for fraud, he has already been flagged. I’m sure I’ll get an unprofessional response.

Bought from them a couple months ago and have had nothing but issues since I pulled out of the lot. It drove alright during the test drive through town and they said they’d fix the air for me. I take it home, the temperature gauge stops working along with the air and my valve stem was broken so tire was flat after driving my first half hour in it. I called expressing my concern and they said to bring it back in. I get a call a few days later saying I have to pay for the issues that were there when I bought it. On top of that I tried telling them that my RPM’s go up to 7k when going between 10 and 20 mph. They said it was fine, then again as soon as I take off it revs up. Here I am 3 months later and the heat doesn’t work, the air conditioning they “fixed” hasn’t worked since I left with it, the transmission is going out, and I’ve put in $800 since I bought it. I do not recommend going here. Not helpful, gaslit every problem I expressed and now I’m out $6000 for a 2010 Chevy Aveo after 3 months use.

My friend and I drove 7 hours to buy a 97 Tacoma here. 73k miles and no mechanical issues for only $4,000. Great deal and the service was amazing, they let us check everything on it and take it on a test drive and the paperwork was minimal. We were able to get in and out of there in about an hour including the 15 minute test drive and they were never once rude or pushy. Great dealership and if you see a car you like there I would absolutely recommend to anyone. Thanks Mike and Korey!!

My daughter bought a vehicle there, threw several codes as soon as we bought. I took it back a couple times. I knew more than they did. No reply necessary Korey. All your going to do is reason on your auction bought cars. No need to be a hero
