Busey in Troy deserves negative stars. Less than a couple months from my husbands last deposit problem, they strike again. Apparently they cannot handle depositing cash and a check together. Sent in my deposit ( cash and check). The same big guy that puts the money in the wrong account only deposited my check no cash. Had to ask what about the $450 cash I just sent in with that check. Blank stares and ohhh I’m sorry about that. Complete incompetence. So so disappointing busey you should really do something. This is the 4th if not 5th time my deposits has been messed up. The big guy needs to be a door greater or something. He definitely cannot should not be handling peoples hard earned money.

My spouse had the worst experience at this branch attempting to deposit money into the account under my name. Associates asked a number of questions and acted as if he wouldn’t be able to complete a transaction that has been done many times by him (for years!!!) Was given disrespectful looks and responses when he shared his relationship to the account holder. Highly frustrated with this branch, and I don’t understand why the associates are allowed to behave in this manner in 2024. Please do better!

Put my deposit into my fathers business account three times. The account it gets put into is the same account the check was wrote from. Mind you I send in my license every time. Then when I call I am asked if I am Sr. or JR… I am the III, the third. SR. Has been dead for years. Complete incompetence. Go somewhere else if you want to deposit your money in your account. If you want to give it to someone else go to busey.

Love Busey Bank! Have never had an issue and their staff at the Troy location is great. Always helpful and quick!

Bank has its ups and downs wonderful customer service but wish their atm transactions would process faster. They are very understanding with overdrafts though. My phone company has overdrafted me a couple times and busey is always understanding and has refunded the overdraft fee a couple times.
