“Today was only the second time I've done business with Armstrong, but I was as impressed as I was the first time (which was over a year ago).I wasn't sure what I needed, but the gentleman who helped me found something that fit my needs perfectly. It was a single 6-foot board. A negligible item for them. But he spent a significant amount of time discussing with me what I needed, and then took me back to show me what he had. I had quite a few questions. He answered them thoroughly and graciously. Even though I took up a significant chunk of his time, he treated me as if I were going to buy an entire truckload of lumber.And the 1-inch X 6-foot poplar board is perfect--absolutely straight, no blemishes. I understand now that, for any kind of lumber, I should go to Armstrong instead of one of Champaign's big-box stores.”
