I have had multiple problems with this bank since they took over prairie land. Never had problems like this before and it's absolutely ridiculous. Tried to address it multiple times and they still can not some how do a simple job. Was just charged an overdraft fee when I've told them multiple times my account is not supposed to be able to do that. But after I start my next job this won't be an issue as I'll just simply switch banks. I'm not the only one that I know that's had problems here since they took over either. Thanks for costing me money I didn't have to begin with.....

I want to thank Colin, I have lost more than a mother should in a life time. He was able to see all of that . He seen also what I would need later. All my info was laid out in front of him, yes. Went in there to open a checking account since I am an Illini and also a county resident. Somehow, there was no one available to assist. I was told to make an appointment and then come in.
A staff member suggested to open the account online.
It's been two weeks since the online submission and counting with no checking account open yet.
Never heard of a bank where one cannot simply come in and walk away with an open account. Chase, BofA, and KCTCU had no issues opening accounts for me.
Came to this branch because the one in First Street could not assist me. Plenty of bankers but one one to assist.
Not really a satisfying, memorable experience where one cannot even open a simple checking account; let alone the excessive time it takes to get it reviewed and approved.

I have been a member for over 10 years and when I needed you I was treated like because I don't have a lot I couldn't be helped Anthony Barrett and U of I Credit Union. It's ok though you made me stronger. I will make it all the way around I will never ask you'll for anything. I was told that if I ever needed anything just ask you have lost a great customer I will remember.

Hi, I recently took out a car loan at the Five points branch. Mr. Anthony Barrett was the person who helped me through the process. He was courteous , kind , professional and very good at his job. He went out of his way to do everything necessary to get the job done. He was so wonderful and I thank him and the U of I Credit Union for everything!
