First and foremost, I want to say that I have never had an issue with this bank. Every time I've been inside, I've always been greeted with a warm smile and happy tone. The tellers there (forgive me for not knowing everyone's names) are phenomenal at making me feel welcome and respected. It feels as though my business is appreciated, and even encouraged. Not only this, but the environment itself is very pleasant. The floors are spotless, the glass is clean, it even smells good. Everything is very polished, and I'm happy to say that I enjoy this bank very much.
Important note: my experience is highly subjective, however, I hope others may find what I've described to be similarly true.

Went in to cash parole check bank manager Briana got very disrespectful because I asked why I had to go through filling out paperwork again she clapped her hands at me and pointing at me as she was speaking in aggressive manner very unprofessional this was my second time coming to this bank my first was went well very professional guy if I could rate this experience it would be a negative 5 I will not be returning

This place has the worst customer support center ever! Your better off calling the bank direct. Just makes me want to leave this bank altogether.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with First Mid Bank and Trust in general. They did a mistake that caused me much anxiety and made me miss credit card payments because they put a bank hold on my account in error took them 2 weeks to fix.

Beware of this bank. Don't do business with them and if you are change banks! I had a bank hold on my account for 2 weeks for a debt that was not mine. I had a very stressful 2 weeks and caused me much anxiety.

Disorganized bank. Not recommended. Employees in the Urbana branch are wonderful, but management of the organization (ie the people in Mattoon, IL) seems poor.

The employees at this branch are nice, but management of the company in general is awful. The bank is run by uneducated, petty little losers in my opinion. There are better banks in Champaign-Urbana...go there.

You should be a great business until it taking over by first mid bank and Trust, and no longer became first bank & Trust. Since then have been horrible, Oroville, horrible. The same people treat you completely differently because they're own buy a new corporation. You get a letter stating you have great credit, then next day you get a lot of stating your credit is horrible any need to rectify Darrell so I'll be reported to the car your PO. I am NOT kidding I have examples of those letters do not to business with this bank in anyways shape form whatsoever as soon as I get enough money to open account and another bank I am dropping them like a heartbeat like yesterday's bad news and we'll never ever use them again

New staff and they are Definitely not as good as the old staff that worked here be4 the Renovations disappointed but the bank itself is great but I will stick to the Savoy location to do my local businesses
