I was recently told by another repair shop that I needed my brakes replaced. I took my car to Kirby’s for another opinion. They determined my brakes are fine and also performed a 30 point inspection. No work needed at this point, and there was no change for the visit. This is my 2nd time dealing with Kirby Firestone in Urbana and I definitely plan to continue to use them for servicing my car.

In 2023, I was told I needed to get my drive shaft replaced. I went to this location for the work, and it cost me over $1200, but that was standard for the repair. I continued to use this location for other car maintenance, but move from the area. I found out today at a different mechanic that the drive shaft was installed upside down and backwards, which has damaged the drive shaft. Now I have to pay another $1200+ to fix this inexcusable mistake.

I would like to thank you for getting my son home safely for Christmas. He is halfway home and called to say his car is running excellent. Thanks for making him safe.

I had a bit of a tire emergency. They got me worked in and replaced some tires, which is what I was expecting. It was done at a fair price. The service writer Josh was very friendly, honest and down to earth. As someone who used to work in automotive service, I appreciate that very much.

Don't trust them. They worked on my friend's awhile back and a few days later it caught fire on the interstate. Total loss, the entire car went up in flames.

Quoted me over $3,800 for repairs because they said I needed a new transmission. I took it to another mechanic and found that there was just a faulty circuit and the transmission was completely fine. SCAMMERS.

They fixed our tire leak by patching it up quickly and inexpensively. Staff were very helpful in resolving our issue, I would definitely recommend!

I needed 4 new tires on one of our vehicles as they were past the expiration date. ? I shopped a few places to see what the best deal was after researching which tires got the best reviews. Kirby was extremely competitively priced and got us in and out quickly. They had the tires we wanted in stock so it worked out great! Glad we were able to support a local small business over a big box store!

Do not trust these ppl they took 1000.00 and didn't fix my car, instead they made it worse. They have firestone logo on their window and thats false advertisement. Nate, Carlos and the store owners are very misleading and liars.

This place is trash , they messed up my car and refused to fix it. Do not let nate , Victor or Carlos work on your car u will be sorry , and the Manager pat is a B%%%& he will not call me back after I left multiple voice mails.carlos and nate lied to me multiple times and on a recorded line. You guys had my car for a week and refused to fix it. You guy are false advertising making people think you are firestone and your not , that's the only reason I came there.

This shop has terrible customer service and no accountability. Victor worked on our fuel pump, didn’t fix it correctly initially. Then our car sat for over a week because Victor was out sick, and the master tech wouldn’t work on it after they already had our money. The car has been there for 2 weeks now. We spoke with Nate and Carlos multiple times with no results. Messages left for the manager, Pat, have gone unreturned. No refund was offered, and there was zero attempt at service recovery. Do not take your vehicle here.

Josh and his crew are rock stars. They have gone above and beyond for everything I have taken to them. And I have some extremely difficult problems.

Will rip you off, find another place. Charged $250 for headlight bulb replacement, a real Firestone charges $125. I know because I've had the same service done at both places in the last year. Also the employees here are incredibly unprofessional. I accidentally called them through my recent calls thinking it was Taco Bell because I had called both in the last few days, and Carlos answered the phone as "Carlos" instead of "Kirby's Tire & Service Center", so I thought I was still talking to Taco Bell. I asked him if this was Taco Bell, and he said "Yes". I asked him if they were open and he said "No". And I said "Oh okay thanks" and he told me: "Shove a burrito up your a**" before hanging up. I literally gave you $250 4 days ago, and you tell me to shove a burrito up my a**. Is it so challenging to simply state the name of your business when answering a call, rather than say "This is Carlos"; how am I supposed to know who Carlos is. And why would you lie and say this is Taco Bell.I will never be back here again for these two reasons.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Be prepared to pay unexpected amount. Changed just 5 studs with them (not whole wheel hub) which cost $20 max. Paid almost $400. They just ripped me off
