55 dollars down the drain. I came to check my car out. I already knew what was wrong. Dave was extremely rude and told me I cant wait in the store for my car. After 2 hours of waiting at home he calls me back and says there's nothing he could repair and that my car should just be scrapped. And still he charged me the 55. For what? Air? And now coming home my car begins to overheat. I wonder if he did something to cause further issues. Never going to midas again.

I Just needed a tire alignment. I made an appointment online, said it would be confirmed or denied in 30 minutes. an hour goes by so I decide to call. Dave answers and I say “hey I was just calling to see about an appointment confirmation” Dave immediately hangs up I can hear the phone slam down. I give him the benefit of the doubt and think he just went to work on it asap. An hour and a half later no call back and no confirmation. By this time the scheduled appointment would have been started so I went down to the shop and asked about the appointment. What would you know it’s Dave who obviously doesn’t wanna talk to us responds with just basic and un interested responses. So we just respectfully left. Now I can’t say anything about there services but this was enough to not attempt a rescheduling

Online says that they do apppointments so i set my appointment days ahead, and called for confirmation and was told that they do not they do not do appointments. Huge inconvenience and will take my business elsewhere.

IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR OR WOMAN READ THIS! DO NOT COME HERE!! The alleged manager Dave Peters was so confrontational and so rude. I seriously have never been so disrespected, gaslit, and belittled in my life. I wanted Syn Blend and when I came to pick up my car he told me I never said that. Since I was charged for a Full Syn naturally I asked if my tires were rotated . He said I didn't ask for it so no. Even though it's included and my car was there from 12-2:30. Instead of attempting to educate me, his tone was nasty and belittling, his explanation was weak, and he was very offensive in his word choice. When I called to speak to a manager he answer saying he was the manager. He responded to me in a smug tone with" I'm sorry you feel that way" and " if your brother was offended he should have said something to me about it like a man". When I responded saying that wasn't appropriate he began yelling and over talking me so I hung up and called corporate. Him disrespectfully mentioning my brother knowing if the situation went that way he claims it should have the police would have been called on the us for matching the level of disrespect is super evil and very much so provoking behavior. The phone call brought me to tears because, all I wanted was an oil change but instead I was met with aggressive customers service. As a woman I should feel comfortable going into a male dominated establishment and conduct business without being talk down too. Nobody should feel provoked and disrespected when going and getting an oil change. I will never spend money Midas Urbana again.

Dave and his team at Midas on University in Urbana are the best! You WILL have a mechanic treat your car as if it was his own, and be given honest answers with your safety and wallet a priority.

I took my bmw there with a radiator leak. I informed them that it had already been diagnosed. They charge me $55 for a diagnosis after I had been told $29 over the phone. I picked it up and brought it back in for repair. They informed me that it was a radiator vent hose which is apart of the upper radiator hose. As soon as I picked my car up after paying them $320 my car had a leak in my driveway. My warning light came on and I went to put coolant in my vehicle only to find out the they had stripped a brand new coolant cap. I took my vehicle back to them and they told me it was the zap the was causing it to leak. I picked my vehicle up again and bought it back home only to find it still leaking. I took my vehicle back up to them a third time only for him to tell me that it was the upper radiator hose (which I specifically told him was the initial problem in the first place. Almost $509 later and car still not fixed and they had the nerve to tell me it would be another $300 something to get it fixed. Do not go here!

Needed a new muffler, an oil change and a couple of things fixed that weren't working. I had only wanted a muffler estimate but they gave a great price and said the work could be done same day. David was fantastic. I picked up my car on Friday that afternoon with all my issues fixed and a new muffler for a wonderful price. Will definitely be returning.

I had a popped tire and came here to have them put a new tire on. Without me even asking, they checked out my old tire and realized they could patch it up and save me over $100. Essentially, they did more work for less money. This place has integrity, and Dave is a great manager!

I’ve always had a good experience here. The service is thorough and quick. They’ve never overcharged me. In fact, sometimes they offer a small business discount. I have an old rusty farm truck and a new delivery van and both vehicles have been serviced at this location. I don’t write Google reviews very often, but my experience was positive enough to inspire me to write one.Service: General repairs & maintenance
