“On Monday October 7, my husband Jeff and I needed to pick up our granddaughter at Leal School in Urbana. I parked the car on Oregon Street and left it on accessory so that Jeff could access controls. After returning later than planned with our granddaughter, the battery had run down. To make a long story short, I ended up at Vine Street Motors Co. The owner Tony was there alone, and he closed the shop, drove me with his portable jump starter to the car, and used it to charge the battery. He would not accept payment. Tony thus went out of his way to help a couple with their granddaughter get on the road again. Since that time, I have been verbally relating my story and recommending Vine Street Motor Co., but I wanted to formally recommend this company to people looking for a used car, as Tony appears to have the characteristics one would want in a dealer.
