Decent Walgreens location. Open until 10pm, which is nice. I've really only used them for a few items. Never tried the photo department, but it looks like they have a lot to offer.

My doctor prescribed a medication on Nov. 15, 2023, and sent it to Wallgreens, 302 University Ave. Urbana, IL.When I went to the pharmacy I was told the medication is on order and would be received in the next day or two. I have returned to the pharmacy three times since then and still have not had my prescription filled. As I type this, on Nov. 30, I have been on hold over 45 minutes and no one has picked up the phone. I'm trying to get the status of my prescription so I don't waste another trip to the pharmacy. There is a repeated message saying that there is one call ahead of me, but that appears to be untrue. Please consider using another pharmacy, any other pharmacy than the Walgreens on University Ave.

I paid $19 for 2 2inx2in photos rejected by the visa interviewer. The person who took the photo for me did not care about the requirements for passport photos at all.

My printer went kaput and I needed some return labels printed. Sent them online. Got to the store to and only 1 had printed. Isaiah looked it up in the computer and printed me the other one I needed. Then he affixed the label to my package. Will be returning. Thank you Isaiah.

DO NOT SEND YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE. I have sat in line for THREE HOURS waiting to even get up to the window. Their pharmacy is absolutely horrible. I forgot to send my prescriptions somewhere else and I've been in line for an hour and NO ONE HAS MOVED. It has been this way for MONTHS!

If you are experiencing an acute illness or condition that requires medication - you have a better chance of finding it randomly on the street then getting it at this Walgreens. So annoyed this is my "preferred" pharmacy for my insurance (BCBS of Illinois, looking at you). I am told a medication will be ready in a few hours. Fine. Go to pick it up. Still need a couple hours to fill it. Seems shortages on certain medications are dedicated to this particular location as well. Need help at the pharmacy window? You might get it. You might get apathetic snark from either the pharmacy techs or the actual pharmacist. On one particular occasion, I asked if they had a bottle of the Walgreens brand NyQuil. You know, the good stuff behind the pharmacy counter that requires one to submit to a background check to get. They told me they didn't have it. I have actually bought it there. The tech got the pharmacist who told me they don't have it and have never had it. She has no idea why I thought I got it at Walgreens. I mean... the fact that it says Walgreens on the bottle and that I only use this particular Walgreens was my first clue - but cool, your attitude is gross, pharmacist. I give it two stars only because at certain times of the year I am yet to actually pinpoint they do a deep clearance on a lot of items. Shampoo. Soap. Cleaning supplies. Even cereal sometimes. Things get marked down super cheap - like 90% off in some cases. And now that I shared that tidbit - I'll probably never find another deal. You're welcome, Chambana.

If you are looking for a pharmacy, look anywhere else. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever trusted. They are constantly changing their hours with little or no notice and they NEVER pick up the phone. They didn't fill a prescription I need, to you know, HELP ME LIVE, before they closed for the whole weekend (so I can't ever have the prescription transferred to another pharmacy). I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to non-Walgreens pharmacies starting Monday. And I suggest you never trust this pharmacy with your medications.

This store is SO incredibly dirty. They are not professional at all. None of the prescriptions are organized. They don't verify date of births. Rx aren't ready when they are told they are already filled. Was in today and half the customers there were all having the same issues. I understand being slower, but the was a nightmare.

I lost my Covid card out of the country. When I went to Walgreens (Five-Points, Urbana) for a replacement they mis-wrote my DOB. I asked them to change it and they made an unreadable mess of the card and said they wouldn't make it right. The card is now unreadable and useless.

I scheduled my wife and I for our vaccines. My wife's appointment was at 9am. Three walk ins were seen before my wife got her vaccine and they arrived after her. Finally at around 9:20 she got her vaccination. Jim, pharmacy tech, informed her that they were not taking appointments. Which is fine, except she was still there before the walk ins, and why were we given the option of scheduling online then? I then went in about 45 minutes later and said I didn't have an appointment and Jim informed me that they were only taking appointments due to only have 3 vials left. I let him know that he told my wife the exact opposite. I left and went to Walmart to get my vaccination. Jim and his manager should have a conversation about his lack of professionalism and inability to do his job effectively.

I had to sneak in here on Mother's Day to pick up a photo order as I noticed the photos I picked up at another Walgreens with an online photo order did not have the pictures I sent. I opened up the envelope the day before Mother's Day and saw they envelope did not have my pictures. I put an another order online thru the app and came into this location, picked up my single picture explained my situation to the manager and she said, "oh boy," and she gave me the picture for free. So easy to give this visit 5 stars. It wasn't there mistake, but they fixed it for me.
