Despite having an appointment it took over an hour and a half to get my oil changed and the cost wasn’t any less than the same service at the car dealership where I’d also have received a free car wash.

The AAA location in Vernon Hills has been my favorite location to visit. The facility is always clean, organized and has a great friendly atmosphere. I have been to this location on two separate occasions, to process applications for International Drivers Permits. The combined time spent from the start of the process to the end of the process lasted approximately 30 minutes total. Great customer service, excellent experience. With only utilizing one aspect of the services offered; I can only
give this location four stars.

Paid nearly a $1000 to have my vehicle repaired, drove off the lot and within 3 miles the vehicle started smoking and shut down on me while at one of the busiest intersections in Lake County, called AAA to be told that it's not what they fixed but another issue, how have these people been getting away with this nonsense??? I wish I would've look at some of the reviews before going but lesson learned NEVER again

Over a week ago my car was towed. The tow company caused damage to my car when they dropped it off at the dealership. I contacted AAA the next day to file a complaint and start the paper work so that I have the tow company pay for the damages they caused. After four days I was told that someone forgot to file the complaint with the tow company starting the whole process from start. it has been ten days since that original complaint. I have been without a car for those days.
I understand that AAA is not responsible for the damages but the mistakes made on their end has caused me quite a bit of headaches and problems. The system in place does not seem to benefit the member of AAA but the companies they hire out to.

I’ve been a AAA member for many, many years. I’ve been going to my local AAA auto care center since they opened. The original crew, front desk and techs were AMAZING! Over the last few years since a lot of the crew left, the customer service has been not great. There is one service tech, Angel, who is fantastic. Always friendly. Super knowledgeable. Treats my cars like they are his own. At this point, I’m still going to this location because I trust Angel with my cars and he offers great customer service. I wish the front desk customer service was like it used to be, warm, friendly, know me by name. I wish the same for the new techs. Except for Angel, it just isn’t the same anymore. Holding out hope.

Want to share my experience with working with insurance agent Bella Volfovich. She is the best agent we ever had, professional and super nice! Now we have great prices for insurance for our cars and rental insurance. We have a lot of questions, and she responds fast and simply to understand details. And she speaks other languages too! Thank you, Bella! Will recommend to friends ?

Came here for an oil change with a coupon few weeks ago one of the old man took my car. The old man seems to be very friendly, he just asked my name and asked for my key.After about an hour and half, the car was done. Here are issues i encountered:0. The coupon does states up to 5 quarts, And I didn’t realize my car takes 6 quarts. the old man didn’t even mention that they would be additional charge. When it was time to pay, the old man didn’t even mentioned there’s additional charge, assume that I would hand off my card. It would be nice to let me know upfront before they change the oil that there’s going to be additional charge.1. I saw several oil stains on my car seats, driver and passenger. I was able to remove the stain, but at least they should be careful.2. On the invoice, they put the wrong mileage. I believe AAA does report the mileage. I would have major issues down the road if I try to sell my car. I had to go back and ask them to update the mileage on the invoice.Before they perform any services with This location, be sure to ask if there will be additional charges and ask them to get consent before they perform any additional services. Otherwise, this place will charge you additional items without your consent.Next time, I’ll just go to the dealer for an oil change. saving few bucks isn’t worth it.

First time ever using this service. I needed them to pull my car 3 feet out of snow. Simple, fast, not in anybodies way. I'm now on hour 4 of waiting for someone to arrive or even call. Aaa contracts companies nearby its locations. Either be forced to wait 4+ hours for anything, or be smart and save money by getting towing on your insurance or pay our of pocket in the rare occassion something does happen. What a joke of a company, pay your subcontractors more if there's this much quality control.

As a AAA member and 750 miles from home, this place was useless. No help at all. Went elsewhere. So much for membership.
