I asked for the milk and honey spa pedicure. It had the most wonderful description! They gave me a regular pedicure and just poured a powder in the water. They claimed that was it. Everywhere else I've gotten the milk and honey pedicure, it is included with everything from the soaking water, to the mask, the lotion and scrubs. This had a wonderful description and it didn't come close to what was listed at all!!! No milk, no honey, vanilla

Only giving 1 star as that's the lowest option Daughter went for acrylics. Refused to shape as requested; refused to change color after one brush stroke when daughter realised the color didn't work, daughter didn't want gel as was $20 extra and they refused and made her have it. Sweet ladies but clearly bullies if they refuse to listen to the client. It's 2023. People have less money to spend. You'd think services would want to do well.

I have been coming to this place since they opened in Vernon Hills. I have tried almost all of the nail salons in the area and I still keep coming back to this one! They are so clean, professional, and kind. They do such a great job with nails!They have even added glass partitions since Covid started, which makes you feel quite safe!I have gotten pedicures, manicures and gel manicures. They always turn out wonderful and if there is anything wrong they go above and beyond and will fix it.I don’t like going anywhere else!Services: Foot massages

Our go-to nail salon close by. They are usually always able to get us in for an appt when we call. I do wish that when you make an appt for 2, they would plan to do them at the same time, not back to back taking up 2x as much time. If you're in a pinch and coming as a group/couple, be sure and ask when you call.

My nails look embarrassing. I get acrylic nails and the acrylic was put on very wavey and bumpy. The polish is not well done either. I called back to see if they could fix it and they said there was nothing wrong with them and that they wouldn't fix them.Services: Pedicure

I had a pedicure and manicure a few days ago. Today I had to go to urgent care cause I had an infection on my big toe which is painful. Doc put me on an antibiotic cause he said I had gotten a staph infection from the pedicure. Don't go to this spa!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a patron of Apple Nail Spa consistently since they opened in Vernon Hills.The owners are always in the shop, are so kind, keep a very clean shop, and maintain a staff that is also consistently kind and creative. The pricing is very reasonable, and the polish I choose here - whether gel or regular - seems to outlast anything I've ever had done elsewhere.Since Covid-19 - they have added partitions, additional cleaning, and masking. I always felt safe before Covid, and still do now. These added measures are thoughtful and smart.Apple Nail Spa is my go-to in the community. I don't think that this place deserves even one star. Wanna tell you why: Made an appointment for my sister and her friend. We explained them that we want them to take them both at the same time so they can get their nails done together. So I dropped them off for their appointment and AN HOUR later called my sister to check on her and (ATTENTION!) she said that they still never took them and they're still waiting for assistance. I was pissed! This teens was waiting an hour to someone to take care of them even tho they had an appointment! Awful! I told my sister to go and talk to them cause this is abnormal and their excuse was: "sorry we have just 3 ppl on a floor and some more ppl waiting an assistance before you". They ended up taking her friend only and my sister kept waiting until i picked her up. Her day was just ruined.

Ken did an amazing job with polygels! He did great with my daughters request and really took his time to make them look perfect. He's there on Sunday and Tuesdays.
