I am a bigger guy. However, I really don't care about all the crazy fashion that crops up every season. I just want nice looking jeans, button down shirts, and 1/2 zip and hoodie sweatshirts to fit right. For awhile, some stores had good clothing for plus size people. Kohl's carried a couple brands that were stylish and fit well, but then they stopped carrying them only to re-introduce those same brands with ill-fitting plus size options. Marshall Field's had a few items which became Macy's, and they had fewer still. The Winston Box, a monthly subscription mail order service boasts a way to find great options for any plus size and truthfully, they never sent items that fit well.
However, DXL (a.k.a. Destination XL) has always had options that work well with my body type. I'm a Polo fan and not a big fan or their house brand, Harbor Bay. With that being said, Harbor Bay's t-shirts and jackets are awesome and fit great.
DXL always has new options and brings in new brands that offer nice options such as Vineyard Vines, Psycho Bunny, Robert Graham, and more. Lately, I love the Lucky Brand jeans as they fit so well, and recently purchased the softest, most comfortable Vineyard Vines hoodie (actually, wearing both the hoodie and jeans right now).
Plus, DXL offers workout closes, casual clothes, dress clothes, suits, shoes, and accessories.
Lastly, the Vernon Hills location (close to me) has such a wonderful staff. Over the years, their staff has changed, but they are very friendly and always offer to help you find what you're looking for or are happy to remains hands off and let you do your own shopping. And they remember you whether you frequent them often or your visits are limited to a few times a year. I hardly visit any other store and if they don't have something in their store, they are happy to reach out to other locations to help you find your size and color you desire. I love this place!

Great clothes, at not-so-great prices. I really do like the clothing here, but DXL and the other plus-size stores for men know they can charge exorbitant prices. And they do. Still, if you're looking to grab yourself a $20 t-shirt every now and then to beef up your wardrobe, DXL has got it. Thankfully a great staff helps keep things lively.

Went in to pick up some t-shirts. The store was very well stocked; neat and orderly. I enjoyed 'shopping' and found exactly what I was looking for. The associate was friendly and helpful. A great shopping experience. I have shopped at this particular store for many years now and always have a good experience.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. It seems every time I go in the store I have a hard time finding a good selection of items. This visit I was looking for a spring jacket and the was a selection of “1” style in 3 different colors. That was it…. Swimming trunks were available so warmer weather merchandise is available. I would shop there more if there was a better selection of options.

The store brand is cheap quality fabric and shrinks upon washing, which for large men(their customers) is a disaster. They limited time coupons aren't good on designer clothing, and are available AFTER you buy large purchases and don't need anything til the need season. The clerks are always great, but the company is screwing the big and tall men who need their product.Signed, would shop here if we had other options, CS

The shopping experience at the Vernon Hills store was rewarding because of an excellent selection of shirts to choose from and because of outstanding help by the store personnel. Would shop there in the future.
