Store manager is rude and unprofessional. If you are a young adult won’t take you seriously. Going to PGA across the street. Edit: I also purchased a used driver from the stores pre owned section a few weeks earlier. I had the club for 13 days (used for 3 rounds) when I decided to take the sticker off. Underneath the sticker were cracks hiding in the graphite shaft. Called the store and the manager said it was out of their one week policy and they wouldn’t exercise any discretion even if the cracks were underneath the sticker. Worst service from a store in which you are spending hundreds of dollars.

I've gone here several times. I've had my putter grip replaced here twice. It was the same employee both times. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. Both times he performed the work in a very timely manner and the alignment of the grips were correct on his first attempts.

Shawn was the most accommodating salesman I've ever worked with! Helped me find the right driver for my game. Came in for 1 thing and left with a ping 430. Can wait to come back and get the rest of my bag fitted! Thanks again Shawn.

NEW AND IMPROVED!! If you want to look at clubs more than clothing it’s a good place to go. Less busy than the PGA store and good selection. Must check out if you golf in the area.

Hadn't been into the store for an extended time and was quite impressed with the upgrade once I entered. Unfortunately thoroughly unimpressed with the staff. A hello, a can I help you were out of the question, I didn't even get eye contact from the three employees I came across. Checking me out seemed to be a burden. Terrible idea to invest in an upgrade to the facility without dedicating resources to upgrading the culture. I'll spend my golf money elsewhere.

Went in for a driver fitting and Addison was arrogant, talking over me, and had no interest in making conversation. He seemed like he wasn't interested in the process or trying to make me feel comfortable. When I try not to over swing he would tell me I'm trying to swing slower on purpose to manipulate the numbers. I'm just an average golfer trying to get better. First and last time setting foot in that store.

Very knowledgeable and helpful with product selection. Lots of available inventory to choose from and helpful to be part of DSG family. I bought new shoes, a new push cart, and got my entire bag of clubs regripped in a day. All ready for next season! Had to order the shoes because they didn't have my size in stock, but they were over the free shipping minimum, and they arrived in days, so win win. Definitely recommend.

Bought my son a used stiff shaft golf club . He used it twice and the head flew off. Called golf galaxy because it was bought just a month prior and it isn’t covered . Pair $379.00 and they said they could fix it for less wtf. Don’t buy anything used from these people.

Marty, Kevin (?) & Co were great to work with. They fitted me for a new set of irons, woods and a driver, and I’m thrilled with the outcome. Great group of folks. Will be back again!

On 9/20/24, I walked into Golf Galaxy in search of a putter cover that I had lost years ago. I tried ones from the shelf but no luck, almost left right away but decided to take a gander around the store. An older gentleman by the name of Addison asked if I needed help with anything. Told him I’m looking for a putter cover, nothing worked and may have to order online. To my luck, he found a putter cover exactly for me! I left the store speechless and applaud Addison’s excellent customer service. Thank you Golf Galaxy Vernon Hills.

I wasn’t going to leave a review but I changed my mind. Really arrogant employees here that assume everyone is ignorant when it comes to equipment. Was also spoken to condescendingly on my way out of the store. If you want to see something on the floor that’s fine but I’d recommend not talking to anyone or trying anything here. You’ll seriously be wasting your time and money. I was hoping for better experiences but this seems to be a theme here. Probably staying away for a while.

I was just here with my brother to buy his first set of clubs and the staff truly looked happy to help him get into the sport. Great staff and they did not try to over sell him!!!
