I had a great experience today at Lowe's!! We bought a washing machine. Joe and Linda were amazing. A breath of fresh air! Great customer service.

Probably my favorite Lowe's store in the area. The store is always stocked and the staff is super friendly and always making great suggestions when you're looking to do a project. They are also quick to share the amazing deals that are going on too. For this particular visit, we went to get a new Christmas tree. And while folks went feral for trees, we had our eye on only one, and they didn't have any on the floor. This one gentlemen noticed that we were looking at it and came us to us to tell us they had one left and he's happy to grab it for us. And he did! We were in and out in 10 minutes while others were still fighting over trees. He also shared with us some of the other deals that were going on and next thing we knew we walked out with a cart and car full of things we didn't know we needed but were so fun we couldn't say no! Haha.

Generally, in store shopping is no problem. I've been shopping at this Lowes for many, many years and service is usually very good; but then I'm not a fussy shopper and know exactly what I want and can usually find it. This was not the case when I ordered a flat ladder which I found on line and wanted to have it delivered next day for $15.00 extra. I completed all the necessary info and since I have a Lowes charge card I get an extra 5% off the price. I saved Sunday for my work day; the weather was going to be great and I'd get a lot of work done. (I needed a flat ladder to stand on since a regular ladder wasn't high enough or very safe to use). At 8:40am I received a text that the driver was finished and would be at my home shortly. I have two dogs; one sits on top of the couch and looks out the window all day so with me in the front room and the dogs, with my street being a dead end I'd definitely know if a delivery truck was approaching. A while later I received another text: CONGRATULATIONS! your delivery has just been made. OH REALLY! News to me and the dogs! I am in a mobile home community very well known to delivery drivers, where did he leave my ladder? I have 4 LOT signs with my lot number, the streets have street signs on every corner. I went outside and walked around my home, no package anywhere. I looked for a phone number to call but none on my receipt. I called the Pro number and got a nice lady with a southern accent. She said she could see who the trucking company was and I asked her to call them on a 3 way conversation. The person answering said he would call the truck driver as I was on hold. He came back and said the truck driver wasn't answering but he would continue to try and reach him to solve the problem. I asked who was going to keep me informed and the Lowes lady said she would call me. Well, 3 hours passed, no call so I called the store I ordered it from which is Kenosha, Wi. (also, there was no picture taken after this phantom delivery as is the norm now). The customer service female took my story and put me on hold as she conferred with her mgr. Upon returning she said there were two ways to handle this: I could drive to Kenosha and pick up another one or they would ship another one out on Monday sometime. I don't live in Kenosha and said you ship it out Monday. I rec'd a confirmation email. Actually, I think the store mgr should have taken my ladder, put it in his truck and drive the 25 miles round trip to get me my ladder so not to waste my entire day of outside work. OMG! this isn't Dr. Welby who visits his patients when they don't arrive on time. (ask your parents). On Monday, I received a phone call from the Lowes truck driver informing me he was 10 min. away. I advised him I was just leaving work so please just leave the package by my deck and thanked him. He did and sent me a photo. I thanked him again. The Pro customer service lady never called me back and it's 5 days later. Did I get anything off my bill for my inconvenience??? NO! it's the way it is these days.

I love this Lowe's. It's my go to all around hardware store. People are very friendly and helpful, and they have a good return policy unlike Menard's. At times, they've been understaffed but overall, I've always gotten what I needed here.

Never go to them for ANY install services. Usually I go to Home Depot but lowes sells pella windows and doors. Placed my order in April and was told 4-5 months until install and it would take 2-3 days to install.Well now lowes says they want to install at the end of December during Christmas time. 9 months later. In the winter. And I was told the job would take14 days now to install.The delay is because the store didn't order trim back on august 8th. When I requested it from the salesman and the store. I asked 5 times if the trim had been ordered I was told not to worry about it. Lowes decided to wait and ordered the trim October 29th. Guess what, it wasn't ordered correctly and we waiting for two weeks to be told it's backordered for another month.We asked lowes to fully refund the order for all the mistakes/lies they made. And they said they would charge us 20% restock fee. We didn't want to pay this unfair fee so we asked if they could at least give us 10% off the order.After the manager talked with the store and district manager lowes told us no. They would rather refund 80% of the order than give us a 10% discount for all the mistakes/lies they made and admitted to. At the end we still don't have a date for our $60,000 window job. They did offer a refund of $1,000 for all the issues. But they won't give us that small refund until the job is completed. They have lied to us so much at this point I doubt they will.------------------update------------I called the number lowes responded with below on Google reviews. After 1hr of waiting I was told customer service can't do anything. No waiving the 20% restock fee. No 10% discount for the lowes mistakes/lies they admit too. NO HELP. Just a waste of a hr of time. Just trash service. They obvious just responded to my review to try to look like they are trying to do something. Don't be fooled.------ so after speaking with the install service corporate manager ( the top person. They refused to transfer me to a high up manager and had a major attitude), the store manager, the district manager, and several assistant managers, no resolution was found. And we are still waiting for an install date. The store doesn't even have an installer on my order anymore. Because the original installer doesn't install past November because of the cold. NEVER HIRE LOWES for anything. There installers don't work past November but they expect me to get installed in winter. I repeat NEVER HIRE lowes

Shout out to Jose in appliances for being so helpful and nice today. We were looking at a stacked washer dryer and he went above and beyond providing info to us. He answered all our questions and informed us of some things we may not have known. Lowe's is lucky to have this man as your employee. If someone is reading this who is able to make it happen...give that man a raise.A very nice man helped me with window shades also today but unfortunately I did not get his name. When I go back I will be sure to give him a shout out too.

This place is incredible! Full of interesting and amazing items and tools. Their items are high-quality and heavy-duty. You can find anything you need here, tools, accessories for the home, hardware stuff, etc. All of their items here are fair and reasonably priced. They also have great deals like promos, discounts, and sale items. You can literally save a lot of money here compared to shopping at other stores around. Lowe's Home Improvement is really great! The employees here are so incredibly friendly, nice, decent, and professional. They all know how to treat all the customers so well. They are very accommodating and they will give you so many reasons to go back and visit again. Everyone was helpful and attentive. This place is exceptional! Their location is very accessible and they are so near. You can go here in just a few minutes from your area. You can visit whenever you want. I would really love to go back here again and visit. Will going to buy again some of their quality items and stuff. Thank you for your awesome service! Thank you, guys! You all did a really great job! Kudos!

The Vernon Hills, IL store completely turned me off Lowes for good. We ordered a fence in March and Lowes had their man come out to measure and provide a quote. We agreed on a design, and signed a contract. We were provided a date for install. Materials were ordered and arrived at the store. Then install date was confirmed for early June...and passed without anyone contacting us. We emailed and called the store many times and after over a week got a response..."oopsie"... Everyone dropped the ball. Nobody remembered to get the permit, and tried to hide that fact until I took it upon myself to call the local permit office and learned no application was submitted. Everything became the "installers fault", because why would I expect Lowes to be on top of things after paying Lowes $7k for a fence and install. And, Lowes wouldn't give me the installers info so I could contact them directly. Three weeks after the original install and materials arrived at our house. The wrong posts were ordered and delivered (4x4 rather than 6X6), which further delayed install when the installers arrived and realized they didn't have the correct materials. They had to make the trek to the store to swap out the posts. A gate wasn't ordered and had to be "rush ordered". More on that later.The double gate that was installed was installed with the hinges on the wrong side, so the fancy gate latch that we were sold only locks from the outside the fence, not the inside of the fence - and looks dumb.No fencepost caps...because Lowes ordered the wrong stuff...So the installers came back FOUR weeks later (unannounced) to install the caps and gate. Caps installed. Wrong gate ordered. It was one foot shorter than what we needed. We are now waiting for the gate to be reordered and installed and told it will take another three weeks.Throughout this process, the local store has done a crappy job of keeping us informed and of course not offered anything to make up for their mistakes, delays and incompetence. They've blamed the errors and delays on the installers, but installers showed me messages contradictory to what the store has told me.Never again will I use this store for anything since they've shown that they can't be trusted and are quite unprofessional in their work ethics. I strongly recommend that you take your hard earned money to someone else who knows what they are doing and honors their commitment to their customers.

I am Glad I moved so close to this Lowe's last year and the customer service team is always helpful. I bought tools , materials, and even décor for my home at this location. I'll be coming back for years to come.Another one of my favorite places to visit. There service here is usually very good. You can pretty much always find someone knowledgeable and willing to help usually only an aisle away. The items here is pretty specific to their own. Sometimes you can find similar items at the competitor but mostly exclusive to LOWES. Depending what I need this is either my store or not. This city offers three big box hardware stores and each offers their own. Know before you go or just do what I do Visit.I pulled out the receipt at the customer service desk.I was returning moth traps .The worker remarked that I had actually purchased these at Home Depot. Feeling foolish,I apologized and started to pack up.He said not to worry,they sell the same product,and he gave me a cash refund.
