I had a disappointing experience at AT&T. I visited the store to simply get a new phone number, but marquise suggested I trade in my old phone. I paid off the remaining balance on my device, but to later find out that instead of just changing my number, a completely new line was added to my account. This was never communicated to me. I was also informed that I’d have to wait 90 days to change the number without losing the trade-in promotion, which was never disclosed upfront. As a result, I’m now facing unexpected charges on my bill and unnecessary delays. I’m quite frustrated with the lack of transparency and the overall experience. I also found out that when AT&T employees add in new lines they get commission… I overall had a great experience when I was talking to him, but till later found out that I was lied to and now I’m facing all these charges I’m completely disappointed in this location that I’ve been going to for years. I also know that he will be moving to another location in Saint Charles so if I were you, I would look out..
