What stood out most was their stellar communication. They kept me informed every step of the way, even sending updates and photos of my car as the work progressed, which was such a thoughtful touch. Their attention to detail is unmatched you can tell they don’t overlook a thing.

Very knowledgeable shop around BMW, lost spark on my Mini, the tech was able to locate the issue very quick, ordered the part and got me rolling in no time. Also they answered any question I had in mind regarding maintenance and current issues I have to take care of on my car. Pleasure to have business with!

I can’t say enough good things about this shop! After another mechanic completely botched a performance upgrade on my BMW, I was left with a car that ran worse than before — and no one willing to touch the mess. That’s when I found BPS, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment I walked in, Bo treated me with honesty, professionalism, and a genuine passion for BMWs. He took the time to thoroughly inspect the previous work, explain what went wrong, and outline exactly how they would fix it. Not only did he correct every issue but he also fine-tuned the performance to a level that far exceeded my expectations.

I've been bringing my cars to Bimmer Performance Source for 4 years. Bo, the owner, is very knowledgeable and honest. He has always helped with issues on my multiple BMWs. Recently, I got the work done on my Cayenne S, and as always, Bo did an amazing job. I wouldn't take my German cars anywhere else.

We reached out to BPS on the strength of some Windy City BMW group recommendations. I’m very glad we did. Bo is highly knowledgeable, skilled, and (perhaps most importantly when working with 20-year old German cards) methodical and patient. Our ‘05 E46 sedan limped into the garage and is now driving fantastically. Bo did a great job of IDing both necessary and recommended fixes, and I also appreciate his candor when outlining what currently didn’t need fixing today but might need some attention in the future. Highly recommended, 10/10 coming back here.

Just found this place by pure luck, Bo is an extremely knowledgeable mechanic, I trust what he say's and his work, which is rare I feel these days. His pricing is reasonable, and his work is spot on. Doesn’t push you into extra work but will let you know what you should be watching and if you should hold off or get it done. Great experience. Will not take my car anywhere else from now on. I was looking for a a local shop like this and found it.

Honesty and efficiency! I brought my 2018 Range Rover to Bimmer Performance Source because it was sagging over the front tires on both ends. Bo (the owner) did the diagnostic and explained to me what needed to be done. He replaced the air suspension system/compressor. He managed to do an impressive job, that would’ve cost me much more somewhere else, in a timely manner. I recommended him to all my friends and family (we’re a big family and mostly drive foreign cars). Top-notch service at a very fair price! Thank you Bo.

My BMW x5 was hit by car on the drivers side wheel area. I could not drive the vehicle faster than 15 mph. I brought to the BMW dealership and was quoted a insane amount to replace the steering rack and a few other suspension parts. I started looking online and came across Bimmer performance. I dropped the car off and few days later it was all fixed. After they looked into it, it ended up being a loose electrical connection on the steering rack, they rewired it and no longer have steering codes or any issues. I did not need a new steering rack like the BMW dealership had said. I could not be happier with the service and quality of work. They also did some additional maintenance while the car was in the shop. They replaced my rear differential seals because they were leaking and also transmission oil change. Bimmer Performance saved me thousands of dollars. I will be bringing my x5 here for any future maintenance.

This place fixed my 2003 BMW 325 I and they fixed it so fast compared to any other place because they were not just throwing things at it and throwing money into the car. I really appreciate the way he explained everything on why it could be this and how it could be this we ended up fixing the car and it was something as simple as a wire. Thank you for all the service will be doing business again
