I hired MicroShip to transport my late mother’s belongings to my home in North Carolina. While they were prompt and punctual in picking up the items in July 2024, it is now January 2025, and I have yet to receive any shipment or even an estimated delivery date. Despite my numerous calls to their customer service—who have been consistently friendly and responsive—I still haven’t received any concrete assurances about when I can expect to receive my mom's effects. This has now dragged on for six months. How much longer is reasonable to wait?
Edit: I was contacted by MicroShip a few days after posting this review, and they have finally shipped and delivered my mom's belongings to my home in NC.

MicroShip made our move easy. Rob the owner was very knowledgeable and professional without the hard sell tactics. I found MicroShip through a trusted competitor who could not accommodate us. Luciano and Jacob showed up promptly on time and carefully wrapped and packed our shipment. I could not recommend them more highly. I wish I had never used google search sponsored ads because of the nonstop calls, texts, and emails. Microchip is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise awful experience. I wish they had been my first and only call!

Extremely happy with Mary and the team at MicroShips. Have used a number of movers over the years and this is the A team. Very different experience from all the other movers I have previously used. Every team member was top notch and professional. Took the stress out of a big series of moves. Will use again and highly recommend.

We all know that moving kinda sucks since there’s so much stress and work involved. But, the professional team at Micro Ship make it so easy and as stress-free as possible. This is my second move with Micro Ship, first from Chicago to NYC and now, the emptying of our storage unit in Chicago and moved to Cape Cod.
From the first call to Rob (the owner) and the follow up with Mary for all the paperwork to Tony who once again delivered all of our stuff safely and quickly and ahead of a huge rain and windstorm headed our way. Special shout out to whoever took extra care in packing several pieces that needed that little “extra protection.”
From start to finish, this could not have gone any better at a cost that could not be matched anywhere. What’s remarkable is the cost of this move ended up less than the cost of our move from NYC to the Cape for like ½ the stuff. That’s a BIG deal.
I cannot recommend Micro Ship enough. True professionals. Good people. Honest people. And people who go the extra mile to make a move as simple as possible at an amazing price. Talk about exceeding expectations, especially this close to the holidays!
Thank you Rob, Mary, Tony and anyone else I missed. You all ROCK!

I cannot say enough about the team at MicroShip. From the estimation and bidding process to the delivery, MicroShip exceeded my expectations. They were very understanding of my complicated situation and worked with me every step of the way. They are truly kind, compassionate people who also know what they are doing. Their efforts and caring are beyond compare! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for MicroShip!

This delivery company cancelled my move less than 24 hours before the day we agreed to. We had an awful experience speaking with members of Microships team. They were extremely unprofessional about the cancellation. We went with a professional moving service for the same rate who is accommodating us and being very helpful under these circumstances.

I hired Micro Ship Inc to do a local move on August 5th. They gave me a quote and confirmed the contract terms. Michael was the sales person who gave me the quote. On August 4th afternoon, less than 24 hours before the scheduled move, they called to postpone the move date because they do not staff to do move. I told them that is not possible because I am selling/buying homes and need to move that weekend. I had to eventually hire another movers at the last minute and paid a huge premium to do the move. I sent multiple text and email messages to Michael but he was completely unresponsive. It is unbelievable that company's like this still exist in business. They do not understand that once a move is scheduled, they have to honor it.

Great company with professional and personable staff. Microship handled two separate out of state moves for members of my family. I was the primary contact for both moves. Microship took great care with our furniture and belongings and everything arrived safely and on time.

Horrible experience for family member, damage to antiques, water damage to items inside totes, missing antique items.Owner would not talk on phone passed call off. Did not wrap items probably or at all.Definitely would not recommend.

Our movers, Jorden and Angel, could not have provided better service. They moved with lightening speed, yet handled every item as though it were priceless. Throughout, these two young gentlemen were polite, highly focussed, goal oriented and functioned as an experienced team. Their arrival was challenging: The move took place on a Friday afternoon during NASCAR, so traffic was bumper to bumper and streets throughout the city were blocked. The move was out of a high rise condo in one of the busiest districts of Chicago. The condo association had strict rules and only one service elevator. Jordan and Angel demonstrated outstanding communication skills with the association staff and with us. They could not have performed more professionally, moving large paintings, fragile glass objects, and heavy furniture through tight spaces with limited time, due to circumstances beyond their control. No constructive feedback …just admiration and gratitude for a perfect job!
