Booked a same day reservation online, received confirmation of both my reservation and being able to check in late via email and over the phone with the front desk. Showed up at midnight to find my reservation had been cancelled without any attempt to contact with me. Poor girl sitting at the front desk had to basically fully acknowledge the ridiculous failure of her business while also telling me to essentially go kick rocks. I don’t blame her, this business model is clearly derived from a business that will do anything to make an extra dollar off of individuals who make RESERVATIONS that can be revoked with no repercussions and leave the customer screwed. No different than airlines overbooking flights. Fix your problem, this is completely unacceptable to leave individuals on the west side of Chicago with nowhere to go. Do better.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, I wound up not staying because the room was booked through Airbnb incorrectly and the hotel was full. Not the hotels fault in any way.

Called to make a reservation via the phone number provided from Google. I called to book a queen bedroom for one night and I specified that we wanted to check in as soon as possible.
We’re actually staying at another hotel in Chicago closer to our music venue for tonight, but since we haven’t slept and we cannot check-in until 4pm, we found this place and after talking with their desk agent who guaranteed that we could check in at noon and they would have the room ready by 12:30pm, I paid for an Uber and was willing to pay the $98 for the night despite not staying here. 🤣
The online price was actually higher than what I was quoted by Linda, the motel six online reservation desk agent I spoke with.
Linda guaranteed me that we could check in by 12 noon although the room would not be ready until 12:30 PM. I agreed and thanked her for that while she provided me the total and confirmed to me that the reservation was made and no confirmation number was needed because I would simply pay the amount when I got there to check in at noon.
When I got here, the front desk lady (Ali or Sujo) was dismissive and confrontational; clearly she was having a bad day of some sorts or maybe that was her baseline behavior. Who knows?
She immediately waved her hand on the other side of glass when I asked about my reservation to check in at noon and told me 3 PM. She kept on repeating that when I was trying to explain to her my conversation with the motel six online reservation desk agent, Linda.
Short story is that she was uncooperative and displayed the worst customer service behavior I have seen.
I simply asked her to confirm the reservation before she said anything else and told her that I did not have a problem with her, but that there was an integrity issue with her team.
I reminded her that I was not upset at her and that she had done nothing wrong, except for the rude behavior and dismissive approach to customer service.
I once again asked her to confirm the reservation and she asked for my ID. I provided it and she immediately said well we don’t have your reservation here. There’s no reservation for you. After I repeated myself, she said that I had to wait till 3 PM to check in.
I let her know that her approach was unsatisfactory and unacceptable and that I would be letting other others know about how horrible her app approach is.
Another customer came up to me as we were leaving and confirmed. He had a horrible experience with the front desk as well, and that she had been displaying confrontational aggressive behavior as well.
She then threatened to cancel his reservation because she was upset with him for having come to validate my frustrations and confirm their poorest level of service.
I wholeheartedly do not recommend you stay at this place; I don’t care how much money you’re trying to save.
Because their attitude is so poor, their work ethic and quality of product is gonna be worse. Guaranteed. I would give zero stars or negative stars if possible.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! Completely infested with roaches when my daughter stayed 1 night woke up to a complete infestation of roaches all over the walls, behind tv and floors DO NOT STAY HERE!

Motel has roaches. Like we killed 3-5 roaches every day. Fridge couldn’t not be used because it smelled like spoiled broccoli and body odor. Non-smoking hotel with cigarette holes in the bedding. Front window had a one foot gap that allows outsides to look right in.

Do not recommend this hotel if you’re staying for longer than a week!! Rooms were dirty, Rooms had a weird scent to them,There were roaches and bugs in rooms, They gave My lady and I rooms with No microwave or fridge, The doors could barley close..Just horrible.. And when i asked them to be in a new room they just put us in a room that’s similar to the last one… Only good thing about the motel is that there’s tons of places you could eat around.

The staff was nice. I have no complaints there, but when we walked into our room, it reeked of cigarette smoke and the cleaning was terrible. Everything worked fine but the white doors around the handle were not white. They were dirty as hell the shelving had grim and what seems to be cigarettes Residue from people smoking in there. The door frame was completely dirty as well with that cigarette yellow residue the bedding had stains on it very small, and when I lifted up the bed, there was stains that looked like poop and lots of dog hair and the little soap packets they leave looked like they were from the 1900s The label was all rubbed off and it looks like they were trying to open them. I don’t know it was gross. But if you are looking for a cheaper place to stay and not worried about the dirtiness then you got your pick. I would recommend bringing ur own bedding

Please be aware that this is the sketchiest motel ever. The google photos are so inaccurate it’s laughable. There was a man passed out in his car in the parking lot, a prostitute out front, the rooms reeked of cigarettes, holes in the flooring. This is 100% a flop house. Save yourself and your safety by staying somewhere else.

I stayed for 3 nights in a room with 2 full size beds. Housekeeping made the beds, emptied trash, and left more bar soap and fresh towels on the second day. It was appreciated.

Very nice employees, no bugs, and very cozy can’t really complain. Stores are near and all around check it out 👍🏼
