I've always used consumers. It was my first bank, first credit card. Helped build my credit so much. The staff was always so nice and the building itself is always clean. But since Covid I feel like I've had problems with the online and getting through to people on the phone. I always had to go in to get information. I work nights and make deposits using the ATM. They were under construction for a few days and I noticed they were open and it kept rejecting my deposit. It was just annoying. Ever since the new system in the drive thru I've had nothing but problems.

The ATM was broken so I went inside to pull out cash. There was one person at the desk another person behind the desk doing absolutely nothing, and then two guys standing at the front greeting people. After I waited a very long time, I decided to leave and go somewhere else and pay an ATM fee at a different bank. As I walked out the two guys at the desk said, thanks for coming in. Really? One of you couldn't get away from the front desk or tell the other guy standing around to help customers that are waiting!

This place is a joke! For months I'll make a payment and the system loses it. I call and they can't find them. I give the transaction number then magically it appears. The rep told me I would get a late fee since the system hadn't posted the payment. I was told to refinance with them so they ran credit. I called for months and no one answered or got back to me. 3 months later I get a denial in the mail.

Terribly dissatisfied. Transfers to my vehicle payment work sporadically. Everyone seems to blame it on the fake holidays.(December 26, January 2.). It doesn’t say on google when closed for fake holidays. The chat bot also confirms that this place is totally disorganized about their hours by leading me to believe that someone will help me shortly. When I called Monday, it said wait time will be four minutes. After 45 minutes I started to realize no one is home. I finally got to a call back option, which is a joke because I’m still waiting for my call back. One of my questions that day was “are you open?” It doesn’t say anywhere! Why lie about the hours? Why take off days that are not holidays? Why blame glitches in automatic deposits on holiday hours. Digital things should not be affected by entitled people taking time off because they’re hangovers are two days long. The rest of the world keeps moving when banks feel the need for these days off. This morning, I was told by the automated system the hold time is at one minute. 20 minutes later still no one is home. Can’t wait to pay off my truck and never look back.To summarize, my issue is between glitchyness and fake holidays. Would you except that from Amazon or Walmart or Netflix? No. Banks and credit unions need to wake up. It’s no longer than 1940s. There’s only 365 days in a year. If we keep adding holidays, no one will be productive. Therefore no one will ever prosper.

Andigo was 5 stars, they merged with Consumers and ever since ot has been nothing but a pain. Can I give ZERO stars?I've had this account 24 years... pretty long.I will be closing it today along with the kids accounts too.The straw that broke the camels back? If I make more than 6 online mobile savings transfers, I am charged 5 dollars each. UNLESS I go to an ATM and make the transfer OR go in person to make the transfer.Shouldn't a credit union make my life easier not harder? UGH.

Was not allowed to do business in my own bank. I have a mortgage, two accounts and auto loan but cannot enter the building without a face-diaper. Masks shouldn't be worn in banks. Unsafe. Not cool.

This bank has become an absolute joke. They have turned the drive through into automated tellers while at least 3 employees just wander around the bank doing nothing. This would be the second time in 2 months I've had issues with them. I'm sorry but when I'm putting cash in my bank I want it counted in front of me not put through a machine. So I have 4 accounts and a mortgage there and I'm trusting them to someone on a video screen. Today their machines actually didn't even work. When you do go in the girls there try everything to get you to use the machine so they don't have to do anything. Companies always looking for ways to make things more difficult on the consumer but easier for them. Time to take business to a human and people who actually work.

I have been a member of Consumers since 1982. I have moved a ways away but refuse to leave my credit union. They are courteous even when faced with people that are not being very lovable. Thinking about leaving state however, will remain a Consumers member.

Worst financial institution ever. Just moved to another institution after seven years and lots of headaches. Wish I had done it sooner. Consumers refused to give me an auto loan for $20k, but another financial institution said yes to a $50k no problem and I had the vehicle paid off in two years. Not to mention every time to try to call, nobody answers and you have to wait for a callback, which always seems to come one or two full days later when you’re working with no ability to call that individual again—just have to get back in line for another call back. When you go to atms, your transactions will be declined as fraudulent. When you get aggravated with not having access to your money and finally get ahold of someone to ask that they stop flagging your atm transactions, they will tell you they can’t because they’re done with security algorithms. F*** this bank.

What’s the point of going into a bank too just simply deposit a check if I have too sit and deal with a computer screen. The lady working the machine was very helpful but if I wanted too be talking through a screen I would have stayed home.
