“Maravela’s is absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for a better caterer. We were impressed from the very beginning. The office has amazing communication. The tasting event was outstanding and we were so pleased how delicious everything tasted. On our wedding day, the food tasted even better. We had many guests tell us that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. The servers are professional and polite. Honestly they were our favorite vendor to work with and would recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding or event. Sooo happy we picked them!!! “Great place to come play PC games with your friends, nothing beats LAN parties compared to playing online. You can walk right in and get setup. Has a wide variety of games, you can sign into your own accounts too. Only $5 an hour, staff are very friendly. Highly recommend checking out! Located inside the Walmart.”

“My wife and I had two big concerns when it came to our guests’ experience: the food and the music. We had the pleasure of working with 31 North for our wedding. Antonio helped us pick out all of our food when we visited. He did an excellent job walking us through some of their more popular choices and helped avoid some pitfalls with his experience. We opted to have far too many food choices in a family style setting and our guests loved it. There was so much to pick from that everyone was able to find something they liked that fit their dietary restrictions. From planning months away to the servers on the day of, it was a wonderful experience having 31 North with us on our big day.”

“I was at the Vixen for a show featruing The Four Horsemen (a Metalica Tribute band), and it was awesome. The band is great, but it sounded great too. Awesome stage and show, plus much larger than I thought. We must have had well over 500 folks there. Also, it's downtown McHenry, with lots of great places to hit. Great venue!!”

“The bar area could really use more than 4 tables. There are a bunch of couches in the bar, and they have a wonderful happy hour, but who wants to eat an appetizer sitting on a couch?? The dining area is lovely as every table has a view of the lake. But the chairs are very uncomfortable for anyone with a rear end bigger than 12”. Wish the dining room lights were a little dimmer. Food and service and ambiance are top notch so we keep coming back!”
