Brought my son in for a haircut when he had a day of from school due to teacher institute. A rude blonde middle aged lady with a full sleeve of tattoos was his hairdresser. He started to cough while in the chair probably due to a hair in his throat or scent in the salon as he wasn't coughing before we came in or after we left. I got him a cough drop and she made rude comments to him about how he chewed it. After the cut, I asked for a wash and she said "great, so he can cough on me some more" I was flabbergasted and explained he wasn't sick or contagious. She then accused me in front of all the other customers that I kept my son home from school to bring him in to get a haircut while he is sick! I started explaining that he didn't have school today. Needles to say, I canceled the wash. I will never be back to this place all due to this experience.

I’ve been going to this store for years! Staff have always been wonderful and welcoming. I found my favorite hairstylist and I always request him!
Prices are reasonable. It’s worth the drive to have friendly people that always make you feel welcome.

Took my son there last night. He had not had a haircut for a couple of years. So his hair was very long. To the middle of his back He wanted it much shorter but still long. Down to his chin. The stylist kept arguing with him about the length. Left him with a bob cut with no layering or thinning out. Then complained she cut his hair three times but she never cut to length he asked for. Spent another $30 to fix this what she left the very next day. Don’t see Iva

I just had my haircut by Jordan. He was AMAZING!! He was so attentive and gave me exactly what I wanted...an amazing haircut. It was a pleasure having conversations with him throughout the session. He is very kind and talented. I hope he never leaves because I will go back to him from now on.

Great Clips in Washington is kind of like Cheers — I walk in and my stylist calls me by name. My favorite place to get my hair trimmed.
Requested style: I have short, fine hair. Sean knows what to do with it!
Stylist: Sean is my go-to stylist. He knows exactly what I want in a cut.

This is usually a good place to get a haircut but sometimes can be hit or miss depending on the person you get and sometimes the customer service is snappy and rude. But there are some genuinely nice workers there that make up for it!Requested style: Usually they have in their system the style which helps a lot!Specialties: They do offer beard trims

I am giving 1 star because it is required to do a review! Otherwise I would give them 0 stars.On Wednesday 4/10 just before 2:00 in Washington Illinois. A bleach blonde woman took me to her chair. There was also a woman working with long dark beautiful hair. And a gentleman working strawberry blonde hair.Before I sat down in the chair I told her that I just wanted to share that I am extremely tender headed. As I sat down in the chair I inquired about donating my hair. She measured my hair and told me that I don't have enough hair to donate since it requires 12 inches. I said no problem. I'm still going to do a big cut. She begins combing my hair. She combed my ears. My body winced every time she combed my ears. It was my body reacting. I asked please don't comb my ears. I already shared that I am extremely tender headed.She says to me "are you going to act like this the whole time?" I said "Excuse Me?". I was so offended by her customer service. And she said "You can just leave."As I stand up, she literally snatched the cape off of me from the back & slightly choked me. She said "nobody here wants to cut your hair. You are crazy."I asked to speak to a manager. Everyone ignored me. The blonde continues yelling at me & telling me I'm crazy. I asked again to speak to a manager. I asked what her name is. She said she doesn't have to tell me anything. Again, I asked for a phone number for a manager. She handed me a business card and demanded I leave.I call the number on the business card. The salon phone rings. The blonde answers the phone & hangs up on me. She then begins yelling at me again demanding that I leave and tells me that everyone is in the backroom talking about me. She said they all think I'm crazy.I was so shocked at the unprofessionalism & lack of customer support. I'm sorry I am very tender headed. That is why I share it when I'm sitting down in the chair.She then yells at me from the back of the store "There is no manager here. There is an email address on the card, now get out!"I sat down and wrote an email to the email address on the card. I asked In to email that they watch the cameras & see for themselves.Not a single employee spoke up.Shame on all of them!

This place is terrible, the gentleman who cut my hair did a good fade on one side but the other side had zero fade. At least people who saw the good side thinks it's a good hair cut. I wish they put more effort into the haircut and make sure it's good before letting the customer leave. It was my first and will be the last time I visit this place.

Did online registration.They were basically ready for me when I got there.My stylist was friendly and a good conversationalist.Even got a $2 senior citizen discount. ?♂️
