I went in for a simple pedicure and to have my daughter’s nails painted.
My daughter's having her nails painted with gel was $38, no designs or manicure. Entirely too expensive!
My pedicure was underwhelming at best. When the nail tech pulled dirty tools off her cart, I asked for sterilized tools. (I don’t want anyone’s nail fungus) I was looked at like I was crazy! She only put 1 coat of polish on my toes. I was never told the charge for gel just handed a book with colors.
During checkout I didn’t leave a tip and I was questioned why.
Standard salon hygiene practices are not followed in this salon.

Cindy always does a fantastic job when I go in for a pedicure! Great nail trimming and polish, love the leg massage and treatment when I pick the middle or most expensive pedicure the most! But I also have trouble with some of my toenails and she trims them so they no longer are a problem. Very friendly and gentle.

I visited American Nails in Waterloo IL to receive a pedicure and face waxing. The total cost was $78, which I accepted. However, upon returning to Florida, I noticed that my face appeared as if I had a gotee, which is not the case. It was actually burnt skin. I contacted the salon to request a refund, but they claimed that they could not refund my money because they needed to meet in person. They believed I had lied about the incident, but I was unaware of any wrongdoing. I even provided them with photos from the review link, but they insisted that they did not review the reviews. Additionally, I informed the salon employee that the wax was hot, but she dismissed my concerns. This situation occurred today, and I had visited the salon on Tuesday before leaving for home that day.
Here are the photos for proof. I will be looking into option to get my money back because I am not lying

If i could leave a 0 star i would. Called ahead to make sure they had openings for walk ins, after being told it was no issue and they did i went in. 45 minutes i sat in the chair watching her do my nails. Asked for a simple french tip. They are so beyond messed up I cried and have to get them redone. For the amount i spent this service was horrible and the outcome is even worse.

Where do I start???? I have never left a review in my life, but felt like this needed to addressed. Think twice before going.
Went in 3 days ago for a full set and a pedicure. Both with gel polish. I chose the $50 pedicure w/ the $15 extra for gel polish. My pedicure didn’t include everything that was listed on the sheet and didn’t last long at all. My toenails were cut at different lengths. Feet felt like they did when I walked in…after the pedicure I went over to have my nails done. The lady doing my nails caught my skin so many times with the drill. When I’d say “ow” she would smile and say “huh” and “I so sorry” and proceeded to continue to catch my skin. Nails are different thicknesses. None are the same length. Not the same shape and are bumpy…I provided a VERY simple design. One I could’ve done myself. She acted like she didn’t really want to do it. In the photo, the design was on a tanish color. She proceeded to paint it pink….i went along thinking it might look okay. Well it didn’t. I told her I didn’t like it and wanted it redone. She didn’t really want to, but it got fixed. It was now something I could deal with looking at. The whole time I was there I kept being told by another lady that the one doing my toes and nails doesn’t understand much and she just kind of does what she wants. A couple days after having everything done and paying $130 for it all…. my GEL POLISH peeled right off my toes! I went in and had them fix my toes….I of course got blamed and questioned for my toes peeling. I’ve never had gel polish peel like that and I’ve been getting my toes and nails done for 8+ years. Not only are my toes peeling again after they were “fixed”, but so are my nails. Definitely won’t be going back. (My toes are bare, they were painted black…)
