Annbriar Golf Course is simply one of the best public courses in the St. Louis area. It is a spectacular, challenging, and well-kept course that pops up out of the farms and fields. The conditions are always among the best, with greens that roll true and excellent fairways year-round. The rough is the real deal. The layout is great, and it is a course you could play every day and not get bored, especially in the fall when it is absolutely beautiful. The staff is great, courteous, and super sweet, contributing to a highly recommended experience. They have good food, and downtown Waterloo is less than 10 minutes away. It can be a bit pricey, but discounted rounds are sometimes available. While the first two holes are a little bit blah, the rest is a must-play. Slow play can sometimes be an issue. GPS on the cart would be nice for the blind shots, but there is nothing to complain about—it is easily one of the area's best.

Great course and even better staff. My best friend and I played a round midday. The gentleman in the pro shop was very courteous and chatted us up. Being 2 girls out for a round of golf without our husbands, we sometimes get a little side eye. But not here! Everyone was super sweet and we had a great round. Highly recommend!!

Slow play need Marshall to keep pace of play or make slower groups let faster groups play thru or make them scramble to speed them up
