Worst bank ever I'd burn my money before I'd ever deposited funds.

I have had an account with this bank for 10+ years but this branch always is the most difficult. I can appreciate that they are trying to keep people's money safe but their "rules" have gotten so ridiculous I can't even access my own money! And for some reason it seems to be harder to put money into my account than take it out! I have had problem after problem with simple transactions at this location. And if its not bad enough, the service there is terrible too. The drive through teller was downright rude and accusatory to me the last time I was there. I am about ready to pull my money out of Chase all together and move to another bank thanks to this location. What a joke.

I go in to withdraw my paycheck. I wasn't greeted. I just stood there awkwardly for a few seconds between two tellers until I chose one. Okay. Not a big deal. I told them I wanted to withdraw money. She said how much? "I don't know how much is in there." Instead of offering to look it up she asks for my debit card. I said I didn't have it and gave her my ID. Really condescending look and instead of saying, "Did you lose it? Do you need another one?" she says I don't have anything to look up your account. So I gave her a second photo ID and she can look it up now. I signed my withdrawal slip and she says, "That's not your signature. I can't give you money." She tells me to sign my name different at the DMV. So I have to get a new license before I can withdraw my money? So I decide to close my account, and I couldn't unless I gave them my social security number. They acted like I was withdrawing thousands of dollars, had a criminal record and signed a completely different name than the account holder. I get it, I worked at a bank and you shouldn't believe anything people say. But if you treat me like a criminal I'm going to bank with someone else. I was on the fence before this but now I only have PNC.

I was glad to find a Chase Bank open up near my home. I've mainly used their Drive Up services. But yesterday, I had to go into the branch to resolve a banking issue. I was to meet with Maricela Lara, Personal Banker. She was helpful & patient. Anyway, I came in to resolve one concern & she asked the right questions and shared a lot of insight on what services I was eligible for. As a result, she ended up resolving two other matters during my visit. We need more employees in customer service like Maricela who can listen to customers & ask the right questions- - - this way, customer walk out knowing they were taken care of.
