Great experience with these guys. We rented a van to haul some equipment. It was ready on time, they had the appliance jack we ordered, checkout took 5 minutes, they were friendly, the van worked as expected, it cost only $73 for four hours, check-in was a breeze. This is how it should work. A+(Fwiw, we first tried to rent from Home Depot and Menards. Both were much more trouble than they were worth. UHaul was seamless.)

u-haul in McHenry was helpful, but couldn't give a truck we needed. They contacted a couple other dealers and the closest one was in Lake in the Hills. The manager of the LITH location; Chris Scott, was most helpful and took pitty on us and lowered the p/mile charge for us; because we had to go an extra 75 miles to pick up and drop off the truck.Their app to check in was not working Correctly, so had to go in and meet inperson. Chris mentioned using the tow haul button to get the best mileage. was surprised that we only needed 2 tanks to go 600 mile round trip; I expected it to be a gas guzzler.

We rented a uhaul trailer to puts some extra stuff in on our journey to Florida. We were all set to leave in the morning and out truck did not start. We had to have our truck towed only to find out later the engine was blown. My husband called UHaul and explained the situation. They were so awesome and let us return the trailer and gave us full credit back. In today's world it is so nice to know that there are still out there that will help when needed. If you need a UHaul, we would strongly recommend working with the one in Wauconda. Thanks again for working with us!!!!
