I had an extremely disappointing and dangerous experience with AAMCO. They replaced my vehicle's transmission but failed to inform me of a severely rotted-out subframe--a critical safety issue that could have caused a serious accident. This is something they should have noticed during the repair process, yet they never mentioned it.
I only discovered this when I went to MIDAS for an oil change. The technicians there pointed out the rotted subframe and called out AAMCO's negligent and shady business practices for not addressing or even notifying me about such a hazardous issue.
Due to AAMCO's negligence, I've had to hire an attorney to resolve this matter. I'm demanding a refund for the transmission replacement, as I would not have spent that money had I known about the subframe issue, and I expect them to make this right.
I would strongly advise anyone considering AAMCO for repairs to think twice. Their lack of thoroughness and disregard for customer safety is alarming. I regret trusting them with my vehicle and hope others don't have to endure the same experience.

Harry is a cool guy but is a bit greedy IMO. I always get good service here, knowingly paying more than what the comparable cost is but they do a good job so I don’t mind. Last straw was when I went it for an oil change (45k Toyota Camry) and I ended up paying over $200 Cause he decided to change some things without my consent. I confronted him and he offered to “remove it and put the old one back” and did not think it was important to call. I paid and left. Never been back there since then.

Aamco charged me $700 dollars to diagnosed my 2006 mazda 3. just to tell me that it needed a $6,500 dollar transmission, more then what my car was worth ($5,500 dollars)if that's not robbing you blind I don't know what is, my car also ran worse than when I took it in,also leaking transmission fluid

Harry and the team dis a great job. My clutch was starting to smell burned on my 2014 Challenger str8 they replaced with a new clutch. Pressure plate and fly wheel. Thanks Guys

Save your time and money and go somewhere else worst experience I have ever had. Manager harry is the rudest and most unprofessional person ever, tried talking to him multiple times that the price of the work was way too much for me to be able to afford and he didn’t care at all. He kept hanging up our phone call multiple times and blaming My service for the disconnection, I was frustrated that I went to talk to him in person and he would even let me speak and just demanded that I pay. Told me multiple times that he took the car for a test drive and it drive perfectly before handing me the keys how would you test drive a car if it was the same miles it came in with, he didn’t realize I have a dash cam and gps device installed and after reviewing the footage and the log the vehicle never left the establishment.

Harry is the MAN!! the work they did was A1. I will recommend Aamco the price ,the care they put in my car and service was excellent and I appreciate it thank you.. I will recommend them for any repairs. Rebuilt transmission is running like a champ .
