I have a luxury Chrysler automobile. I came to Affordable Collision Repairs. I spoke to Rick. He looked at my Chrysler 300. It has a minor repair issue of a loose fender on the front passenger side. He wrote up a repair order for $68He said that he would order the part. Once the part came into the shop, he would call me. He said I could bring the car in for the repair that he said would take about an hour. I was ecstatic! That was on a Tuesday. That same Friday, I called Rick to see if the part had come in. Rick was not there. Another guy asked my name and then said they expected the part to bedelivered on Monday. Monday came. I got no call. I called that Tuesday, the next day. I spoke to Rick. Rick now tells me that they did receive the part ; that one of the shop workers had misplaced it and had contracted Covid. He was recovering from home. Rick said he called the worker but, the worker had not called him back. He also added that he couldn't get me in that week, anyway. Now, a minor repair job that started off being smooth and easy was now suddenly complicated and hard. I knew Rick was lying to me and "jerking my chain" I thought back to my initial conversation with Rick. When I gave him my last name, he said something about "a native Indian name" then, he mentioned something about "the country being divided" He fooled me at first, but, I figured Rick out. He is no nice guy at all. I believe he allows his personal political beliefs to guide how he treats his customers. It is now 11 days since Rick placed my repair order. Still no call to come in for the repair job. I know that part is never going to come in. I will not waste my time calling Rick, either.

Rick, the owner, is excellent, just incredible. My Audi had significant bodywork that needed to be done. The dealership suggested a place in Lake Bluff that was WAY overpriced and wouldn't even take my car for three months! My wife and mother-in-law had both brought their vehicles here and were happy with the results. Not only was Rick able to take care immediately, but he could also source the parts needed for the car quickly. It was ready within a couple of weeks and over 30% under the estimate from the shop in Lake Bluff. Highly recommend them!!!

If anyone’s going to ask where to have their car repaired, I’ll point them to Affordable! Not only did they do a great job on my front bumper’s dent, they also were true to the name — it’s affordable! Mr. Rick, the owner, is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He was able to schedule me as soon as I needed and I got my car back only after 2 days too. I’m very thankful for their service.Services: Body & Trim

My mechanic sent my car here for some rust repair. They billed me over $2,000 and I'm not even sure what they did. Some of the paint has fallen off already and rust is showing, so they obviously didn't sand it down properly. I doubt they fixed the rocker panel correctly either and just did the part you can see. I'd be too terrified to look considering they can't even be bothered to sand down to metal before painting on the fenders. They kept trying to return the car with visible rust on it that I told them about before it was sent down here and by the time I got it back 3.5 weeks later (was supposed to be 1 week) I was so annoyed, I just paid the shop that sent it down here and drove off. Now I have all this going on and to make things worse, I need to replace at least one of my fenders because they left rust on the thing instead of unbolting it and fixing it and I'm not comfortable with the corrosion that I can see on the other side by sticking my phone in with the flashlight on and taking a video, and it's actually rusted through on a part on the bottom that's difficult to see. In the middle of the whole thing, I called down here and they denied even having my car or knowing anything about it. Then it turned out that they put my passenger door back on wrong and water leaked in to my car when it stormed a few nights after I got the car back, and I had to go get the door taken off and put back on properly. If you want some halfassed repair where the guy decides it's miller time and doesn't do the entire job you may as well just keep your car and get a $20 paint pen from the dealer. You can paint over rust and have it last a couple of weeks.

I had a horrible experience with affordable collisions. I unfortunately was hit by someone while driving my 2020 Honda. I was scared of where to take my car because of it being brand new but heard great reviews about Rick and affordable collisions. I asked insurance if I could take it here because everyone told me I was in great hands. Well when my car was done the FIRST time, the paint did not match and there were countless imperfections in the paint. To top it off they had also scratched the tint on my windows. Rick agreed to fix it for me and assured me it would be better. Well the SECOND time I got my car, it was the same mistakes! The color did not match and there were imperfections throughout their paint job. On top of that, they did not cover the rest of my car completely and spray off paint got onto the other side of my car as well. Rick's response to me was "this is the best you're going to get." Due to all of these mistakes I had no other choice but to trade in my car because it would've costed me even more to have them fix their mistakes.Service: Painting

Needed body repair on my 2014 Honda Civic. Affordable Collision quoted the price, which was completely affordable, but when the work was done, I paid $200 less then estimate. That has never happened to me, ever. The work is outstanding and I highly recommend Affordable Collision.

The owner Rick is so friendly, helpful, and fair. He saved me some money off my deductible and made my brand new Jeep look even newer after hitting a deer. Amazing work! Definitely recommend this shop for any body work you may need.

I had a unique situation my insurance company didn't cover me at first so I asked this place will you be charging me a storage fee. The head guy in charge insured me that they will not break me and my car sat their a month with nothing stolen. Luckily USAA came to my car and paid for everything. Good insurance company and a good repair shop all and all.
